In our work,a series yellow ACEL material (Zn, Cd) S: Cu, Cl were prepared.The thermoluminescence, excited spectrum, X ray diffraction and microwave absorption dielectric spectrometry were used to investigate the properties of (Zn,Cd) S:Cu,Cl ectroluminescent material.ZnS,CdS are both the direct bandgap semiconductor compound.In ZnS, the Zn is replaced by Cd~2+,It arouses the descend of the bottom of the conduction bandand.So it makes the forbidden bandwidth of the luminescent crystal change, the energy level of luminescence center changes immediately, therefore the luminescence spectrum is changed continuously. The different yellow electroluminescence materials of a series of content of CdS that we make to have with the result, the peak value of the wave-length changes from 505nm to 570nm.At the same time, along with the increment of the content of CdS, the life time of the free photoelectron and the life time of shallow-trapped electrons both have the descendent trend. In the thermoluminescence curve diagram of the materials have two obvious peaks, appearing respectively at 123Kand 223K neighborhoods.The crystal structure of the luminescencence material can also be changed by Cd~2+. Along with the increment of the CdS content, a phase is mutually the comparison aggrandizement.Through the research of the crystal structure of the luminescence material, we found cube structure have excellent characteristic.We adopted the phase transition technology to obtain excellent crystal and high brightness yellow series material.The accomplishment of this paper has practical and economical meanings for the improvement of the yellow power (Zn,Cd) S:Cu,Cl luminescence material capability , preparation of high quality (Zn,Cd) S:Cu,Cl electroluminescence material and the widening of the material applied field.
