In our country, the proportion of mountain area is nearly two to three of the whole area and it is beyond 70% in some provinces. Therefore, to prevent variety of geological hazards is substantial to the economy development. Especially in Chong qing, which is 'atypical mountain city, to evaluate and prevent geological hazards is becoming more urgent with the implementation of the strategy for: the development of our west region and the construction of more large urban facilities.Landslide and dangerous rock are the most common form of geological hazard. In this paper , the qualitative analysis in landslide stability analytic methods is briefly introduced. The emphasis is the quantitative analysis in it. And geological hazards judging methods, the reasons of the formation of dangerous and the analytic methods of dangerous rock stability are also briefly introduced. This paper uses traditionalquantitative research method—ultimate equilibrium to stably analyze and calculatethe landslide and dangerous rock of Three Gorges Reservoir Areas, Chongqing Fengdu Industrial Areas .According to the result of calculation, landslide upper part is basically stable , landslide lower part isn't stable , dangerous rocks are all unstable. Therefore it is suggested that such measures as unloading at upper part, anchorage and pile supporting and retaining wall system and interception channel and drainage system, according to real condition, dangerous rock strengthening, corresponding lining support etc. should be used on the land slide.
