There are so many electromagnetic devices in the world. Optimization of the electromagnetic structures is very important in the design of the electromagnetic devices in the modern industry, agriculture and life. With the rapid development of computer technology and the perfect progress of numerical techniques of electromagnetic field analysis, many efficient methods have been developed for the design optimization of electromagnetic structures. The reflectors of objective simulation used for electronic reconnaissance and counter measures are configured to provide omni-directional reflection to incoming electromagnetic waves, while maintaining strong reflection characteristics. Therefore small size reflectors simulate the targets which have large reflective surface area. There are kinds of corner reflectors such as RDCR, TTCR etc.. The MOM is used in this paper to calculate the Radar Cross Section (RCS), and different reflectors are compared with RCS calculated. In cheaper 1, The background and research developments of numerical techniques of electromagnetic and RCS are briefly reviewed. The platform of this work is introduced. In cheaper 2, The basic theories of electromagnetic problem include MAXWELL Program are presented. In cheaper 3, Finite element method of 2-D electromagnetic field problems has been studied. Plane quadrangular element and plane, triangular element are adopted in the FE discretization process to form coefficient matrix and inspiration matrix. In cheaper 4, The Maxwell stress tensor and the finite element method of 2D electromagnetic forces problems has been studied. In cheaper 5, the basic theories and methods of RCS are studied. The Scattering Behaves Versus Target Size in Wavelengths is introduced. The basic methods, such as GO, GTD, PTD, etc. are introduced. PO and MOM of the important methods are studied. In chapter 6, Using methods of PO and MOM, it presented some numerical examples. In chapter7, main contributions are summarized and the further work is suggested. The research of the dissertation is supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 10032030) and the Special funds of national Key Basic Research of China (Gl 999032805).
