Study On Dissipative Hydrological Model & Its Application To Hotan Oasis

With the development of the society and the advance of the Sci-tech,the fresh water resources are demanded more and more and therefore,the confilicts among different water-demand units are growing severer and severer.Moreover,the longtime immoderate water-consuming mode is forcing the living surroundings to go from bad to worse.Hence,it is awfully necessitated to construct a hydrological model applicable to Hotan Oasis with which,the moisture movement mode can be easier to find and the precious water resources can be allocated correctly.Based on the analysis of the water-land resources in Hotan Oasis,the Dissipative Hydrological Model for Arid Oasis,constructed mainly by Tsinghua University,was modified and the parameters of it were calibrated so as to be applied to Hotan Oasis.And then the software named Dissipative Hydrological Model for Hotan Oasis was developed,with the help of which,Hotan Oasis water-balance analysis was conducted.And the main achievements in this paper is as follows:(1) The analysis of the water-land resources in Hotan Oasis for about fifty years was conducted,the results of which indicate that the water-land conditions in Hotan Oasis is hard and in order to ensure sustainable development,the unwise water-utilizing mode must be reformed so as to allocate the precious water resources correctly.(2) The calculation methods in and the characteristics of Dissipative HydrologicalModel for Arid Oasis were illustrated and then in accordance with the status of Hotan Oasis,the model was modified and parameters in it were calibrated so as to ensure it can be applied smoothly to Hotan Oasis.(3) With Delph 7 and JBuilder X as programming tools,the software named Hotan Oasis Dissipative Hydrological Model was developed and thus the model can be used easier and be generalized faster. With the aid of the software,users can get a knowledge in the form of quantity or curve about the moisture movement and the water-balance status of river,reservoir,irrigated land,non-irrigated land and groundwater in Hotan Oasis.(4) The water-balance analysis on Hotan Oasis was conducted with the help of Hotan Oasis Dissipative Hydrological Model and the moisture movement mode in Hotan Oasis was roughly gotten and the analysis shows that on one hand,the water-utililizing mode in Hotan Oasis is extensive and water-consuming quantity of irrigated land plant is great; on the other hand,the management level on the canals is poor, which leads to a terrible waste of water resources about half of which lost midway.
