The task roots in 973 " Carbon Flux Research of Chinese Typical Estuaries" . The thesis bases on the advanced methods of in-country and overseas in researching the dissolved inorganic carbon, particulate inorganic carbon in mixing zone. We adopted the method of observing consecutively by using ten ships, and described the TSS, DIC, PIC% of Huanghe estuary water in August and September, 2003, and described the PIC% of surface deposit matter in September, 2003 meticulously. We determined the inorganic carbon of different type in surface deposit matter of riverway zone, mixing zone and seawater zone in August, 2003. We also analyzed the inorganic carbon of different type in suspended matter of Lanzhou, Huayuankou, riverway zone, mixing zone, and seawater zone. We finally accounted presumedly the inorganic carbon flux of August and September, 2003, and the inorganic carbon flux of different type in riverway, September, 2004. The main results are following:1. The distribution of inorganic carbon in Huanghe estuary, August, 2003 The distribution of DIC and PIC% of surface seawater in Huanghe estuary are controlled by Huanghe water, which are high in estuary and low in seawater. The seacoast tide of North Bohai gulf which takes plentiful of sand of Huanghe delta inbreaks the Huanghe estuary, which causes the content of TSS, DIC of North water area higher than South water area of Huanghe estuary. But the content of PIC of South water area is higher than North water area of Huanghe estuary, which is caused by the diluted water of Huanghe river full of PIC. The dialy change of DIC and PIC in surface seawater show significant differences due to the tide. The dilute fromHuanghe estuary, which flow to the north, the concentration of TSS significantly increases with high tide, PIC% decreases and POC% increases (this is the highest value of POC% in the research area). These results maybe attributed to the particulate organic carbon from biological activity. The character of other station water is stable, the daily change of DIC is stable in these station, it can reflect the character of biological activity from seawater zone. The daily change of PIC% is not consistant with the daily change of TSS, it maybe conclude that the distribution of TSS can' t completely reflect the transportion of particulate inorganic carbon.2. The distributing of DIC in Huanghe estuary in September, 2003The north area of Huanghe estuary is blocked out by alongshore water which salinity is about 30 in September, 2003, and only has a channel of low salinity pointing to the Laizhou gulf in South of the estuary. So, the diluted water of Huanghe river can' t extend to the North of the estuary. The unitary current of the distributing of TSS is bottem>middle-lever>surface layer in September, 2003. From estuary to sea, the distributing of PIC% shows obvious current of the decreasing in September, 2003, and it is high in West and South, low in East and North. It is obvious that the Yellow river water from the harbor entrance flows to the Laizhou gulf. The station which TSS is the highest, but PIC% isn' t highest. The TSS concentration changes rapidly in South of the Huanghe river, but the change grads of PIC% is not too. From estuary to sea, the distributing of DIC in surface, middle-lever and bottom water show the current of decreasing. But the change rule of DIC in surface, middle-lever and bottom layers in different area aren't consistent, which show the diversity of DIC source in estuary. PIC% of deposit takes on the current of bigger in South and West than in East and North in September, 2003.The area which PIC% of deposit higher than 1% is very wide in South of the estuary. It is caused by the carbonate depositing in this area. PIC% is very low outside 120°E, which is only about 0. 55%.3. The behavior character of different phase of PIC in Yellow river and its estuaryIn Lanzhou station which is the main stream of Yellow river, the concentration of calcite in the suspended matter is low, but the concentration of calcite is very high in Huayuankou, it ca...
