Call the retail business "the industry of selecting site " abroad, It can see the importance of selecting site. Some theoretical direction and practical exploration about this question of selecting site at present, suitable for operating, are too a lot of method that put forward. but, using information technology is it deal with method to select site problem still little to come. It is compare and not abstract to go on various kinds of influence factor mostly at studying issuing of selecting site, to want different problem that solve , make practical problem abstract to and simplifies , set up a mathematics model, then with existing (put forward a new one ) , mathematics method ask and solve these model. The question is a very complicated comprehensive commercial decision-making process that the supermarket selects site, not only need to determine the nature to consider but also need quantitative analysis. This thesis has put forward a train of thought of solving model of selecting site, namely supported by GIS (geographical information system), solve the problem of selecting site to index and model of foundation that draw with the visual method clearly , ocularly. The obvious advantage of using the geographical information system can be summed up:1 manage geographical space information and database attribute information system of datum at the same time on the basis of geographical information system this kind.2 get rid of traditional experience select site mode, show in the map data, which is clear and ocular.3 map target and database attribute data establish relation of connecting; can realize map and two-way inquiry of database easily through GIS like this. Analysis and inquiry that4 data can be ocular, visual, explore various kinds of potential connections hidden in the text data, and offer a kind of brand-new decision support way to user. This thesis locks and retails the single chain supermarket under 500 square meters of area of business of shop in the achievement state, in is it influence chain various kinds of influence factors that supermarket selects site to analyze, put forward theindex system, set up one in common use mathematics model , it select site to model this the problem has been supplemented to solve, the reason is that various kinds of operation tools all have its defect nature, the geographical information system is no exception in practical application, and data draw through make investigations actually, perfect geographical information system support supermarket under selection site the method , and use this method in practice.
