In this paper, we present images of the nearby, edge-on galaxy NGC4565 obtained as part of the Beijing-Arizona-Taibei-Connecticut (BATC) Multicolor Sky Survey photometric using the large-format CCD system on the 0.6cm Schmidt telescope at the Xinglong Station of the National Astronomical Observatories of China (NAOC). We compute magnitudes of thousands of stars brighter than i=19.0 mag in the field of NGC 4565 using point source photometry method and variation of magnitudes of these stars within 4 days. The procedure used to find candidate variables was based on the selection of stars with light curves showing large dispersion as compared with other stars of similar magnitude. By adopting the method of phase-dispersion minimization, four short-period variable stars have been discovered. Among the four new objects, two are RR Lyrae. Another detected variable stars is pulsating variables. Owing to not have enough data ,type of the remaining variables can not be identified.
