This paper consists of six sections: (1)Introduction; (2)The general situation of the research spot ; (3)Micro-climate in fengcong depression ecological system; (4)The anatomical characteristics of Cyclobalanopsis glauca leaf; (5)The physiological and biochemistrical characteristics of Cyclobalanopsis glauca leaf; (6)The conclusion. Taking an example of Cyclobalanopsis glauca in different physiognomy in fengcong depression ecological system in GuangXi NongLa, the micro-climate of Cyclobalanopsis glauca communities, the anatomical characteristics, the physiological and biochemistrical characteristics of Cyclobalanopsis glauca leaf were studied. The purpose of this paper is to make out the effection to the Cyclobalanopsis glauca leaf water ecophysiology by the different physiognomy in fengcong depression ecological system. The results were as follows:1.The micro-climate is obivous in vertical direction in the mountain. The highest relative humidity in community on the top of the mountain is only 71.6%, while that is 91% in the middle of the mountain. The air temperature in community on the top of the mountain is 6℃ higher than that in the middle of the mountain. The soil temperature in community on the top of the mountain is also 1.9℃ higher than that in the middle of the mountain. The highest relative light intensity in community in the middle of the mountain is only 1.82%, while that is 37.37% in community on the top of the mountain.2. The leaf anatomical characteristics of Cyclobalanopsis glauca are obivous in fengcong depression ecological system. The Cyclobalanopsis glauca trichomes on the top of the mountain is denser and longer than that in the middle of the mountain. Some of characters , such as lamina thickness and width, the number of upper epidermis cell, stomata index, the lower epidermis thickness, palisade tissue thickness and sponge tissue thickness, are more variational. The Cyclobalanopsis glauca leaf on the top of the mountain have some adaptations to the water stress, such as the columniation shape of palisade cell, the closer arrange of sponge cell and Hyperdomis and so on.3. Some physiological and biochemical index in different physiognomy in fengcong depression ecological system were measured. It indicated that the water content in leaf of Cyclobalanopsis glauca is higher than that in the middle ofmountain, while the natural satutation deficiency , degree of need water is lower than that in the middle of mountain. The Cyclobalanopsis glauca on the top of mountain has more serious water stress, but its degree of need water is lower than that in the middle of mountain . Some of the adaptation on the top of the mountain, such as the less leaf area, the thicker cuticle, the hollow stomata, can reduce its transpiration, at the same time, its photosynthesis also decrease. So the Cyclobalanopsis glauca on the top of mountain grows slowly.4. Cyclobalanopsis glauca always grows in the red soil and yellow soil in the tropic area and subtropical area. The leaf structure belongs to the mesophyell type, but in some dry karst area, some of them will express the trend of xerophilization. All this can indicate that the Cyclobalanopsis glauca can resist water stress bringing to the different physiognomy in fengcong depression ecological system.Briefly, the main factor in fengcong depression ecological system is water. So in research of ecological system, much attention should be paid to the batony ecophysiology by the different physiognomy in fengcong depression ecological system.
