As the kidney of earth, wetland have many functions which include Reducing flood levels, Moderating global climate condition, controlling runoff in urban areas, buffering shorelines agains erosion providing life habitat and soil resource and so on. Study on wetland benefit is to quantify these functions, purposes and attributes, accordingly we can account them in currency. Assessing wetland value accurately can provide essential theory for restoration and reconstruction of wetland; it can provide scientific basis for government and arouse awareness of the public; at the same time Assessing wetland value accurately is also the need to build complex economy and resource environmental system.Now much study on wetland benefit disregards the benefit of wetland soil, no matter what it is single element or whole wetland analysis; even though the system contains benefit of wetland soil, most conclusions which are being utilized come from achievements of forest soil (cuilijuan, 2000; xujianmin,2001).enhancing the study on wetland soil benefit will make up weakness in the study on wetland benefit and make the wetland benefit assessment system perfect and the result more accurate and practical.In this paper I will do some primary research on the role which soil plays in the wetland benefit, object which aims at is Momoge Natural Reserve. By utilizing some means which include GIS, RS, GPS and mathematical modes, I will do some quantitive and quanlitive research on the functions, purposes and attributes of wetland soil.The whole value of wetland soil is 7.32 × 104 million yuan. Function benefit of wetland soil is 1.75 × 104million yuan which is twenty-four percent of the whole wetland benefit; purpose benefit is 5.14 × 104million yuan which is seventy percent of the whole wetland benefit; attributebenefit is 4.26 ×10 million yuan which is only six percent of the whole wetland benefit.In the function and purpose of wetland benefit, region difference of Momoge wetland is distinguished so as to acquire a much accurate result on wetland benefit. Research reveals the roles which Moon Lake and Haernao region play in wetland soil benefit is much bigger than it which Halata plays.paper also analyzes problems which Momoge wetland soil confronts, including oil exploration , inning, herd and so on; these problems is more serious in the middle and east of Momoge wetland where the wetland soil benefit is better, it will influence wetland soil benefit greatly and aggravate wetland environment. Of these problems Oil exploitation has a negative influence on wetland soil obviously , but benefit which comes from oil is only 2 × 103 million yuan which is much less than benefit from wetland soil in a year.
