This thesis is devoted to research on the optothermal biotissue response during laser irradiation theoretically and experimentally. According to the model of light propagation in tissue and the physical mechanism for biological heat transfer, which serves as a basis for modeling the thermal laser-tissue interaction, a new heat transfer model for laser-irradiated tissue has been developed. ADI(alternative direction implicit)method is used to simulated the relationship between the temperature induced by laser irradiation versus time or space. Technique of temperature measurement for biotissue under laser irradiation is investigated, and in vitro measured the temperature of the skin of porcine, in vivo measured the temperature of the skin of the rat抯 back and the rabbit抯 leg under the Er:YAG and SuperCO2 laser irradiation respectively . A mathematical software is used to analyze the data. Finally, the influence of laser parameters on temperature is studied. The results obtained can contribute to further investigation in the optothermal biotissue response during laser irradiation and clinical laser applications.
