Some foreign countries have developed some mature bridge management systems,but it can not be used directly in our country because the management system and the national code for repair and maintenance is different.Some bridge management systems are developed in our country,but they are all running in test.So the main research subject in the thesis is to study some problems for developing suitable bridge management system for our country bridge management.The contents of the research work are summarized below:(1) Basing on the research on present situation of bridge, points out the problem that defect state of bridge do not establish unified effective evaluation standard, and hardly reflect severity of defects of components has influence on the whole bridge. Some standards and evaluation approachs are not according to concrete bridge style. Thus, according to analytic hierarchy process and constant weighting method put forward uncertain analytic hierarchy process and variable weighting method.(2)According to the defact of visual detection evaluation, which caused by human factors, and basing on the information of bridge defect, the paper puts forward uncertain analytic hierarchy process and variable weighting method as tools to evaluate by different analytic hierarchy models and rational weight distribution to the bridges which have different structures, because it can fully reflect in overall evaluation when individual components exist great defects. This method can make bridges evaluation more scientific and rational, and make evaluation process easy.(3)Combining with GIS, targeted with getting the best system function, analyze and design the structure of information system of bridge assessment, and put forward construction and environments of information system of bridge assessment. (4)Basing on objective function of system of bridge assessment which the paper mentions, design the section of core database of system of bridges management by database conceptual model analysis, logic model analysis, physical model analysis. Meanwhile, detailed design and do partial implementation to some base function of this system.
