Business Process Modeling Method Study Based On POSC In Petroleum Industry

This article aims to study business process modeling method in petroleum industry byanalyzing the business processes classification and description methods of POSC data modelstandards, combining the characteristics of the domestic oil business.The main method we used can be divided into 5 steps. The first step is to separate E&P businessdomain of petroleum industry, next refine the E&P business domain into business area and givean exact definition for each business area. The third step is to analyze business process of each businessarea. Step 4, figure out how many business activities in a business area and describe them. The last step,describe the data items used in business activities for detail. Finally, we can get the Business processmodeling.
