Light as a major environmental factor, not only provides energy for the plant, but also play an important role in triggering changes in plant morphology, plastid differentiation, metabolism and other physical activities. Currently, four kinds of receptors of to captured the optical signal was found: Phytochrome, super pigment and Cryptochrome.Cryptochrome received blue light and regulated plant photomorphogenesis response, such as inhibition of stem elongation,regulation of circadian rhythm, activation of gene transcription, and regulation of flowering. At the same time, mineral elements also plays an important role in the control of plant growth and development. Therefore, The research of How the light quality influencd mineral element absorption,may further understanding of Photomorphogenesis and the effect of light quality on plant.To determine the effect of Cryptochrome 1 and Cryptochrome 2 on mineral element absorption of Arabidopsis under the different light quality and in dar.we model Arabidopsis thaliana Col-4, cry1, cry2, cry1cry2 studied by using ICP-AES for the content of 11 kinds of mineral elements.The results offmineral element content of Col-4,cry1,cry2,cry1cry2 under blue light showed that ,at seedling stage the deficiencies of CRY1 and CRY2 promoted Ca, Na, S, Fe, Cu absorption;single loss of CRY1 inhibited the absorption of B, Mg, P, Mn,and single loss of CRY2 promoted the B, Mg, P, Mn accumulation.Mealwhile the deletion of CRY1 and CRY2 decreased the Zn accumulation.At the same time,we also invested the mineral elements of those four kinds materials under red light,and found the significant differences of mineral content.The deficiencies of CRY1 and CRY2 promoted Ca,Zn absorption; the deletion of CRY1 and CRY2 inhibited P,Mg,S,Fe,Mn,B,Cu absorption; in addition,lacking of CRY1 made Na absorption a disincentive;and loss of CRY2 promotered the Na accumulation. single deletion of CRY1 and CRY2 played the role of in facilitating absorption of K.Under White light, the results of mineral elements of Col-4,cry1,cry2, cry1cry2 in the test showed loss of CRY1 and CRY2 play a catalytic role in decreasinng K absorption.Due to single deletion of CRY1,absorption of Ca,B and Zn was inhibited, while CRY2 missing from its role promoted absorption of Ca, Band Zn.The deficiencies of CRY1 play a catalytic role in absorption of P,Fe. Additionally,lacking of CRY1 Inhibiting the absorption of S and Mn.The deletion of CRY1 and CRY2 give a disincentive to the absorption of Mg,Cu and Na.In addition, the results of mineral contents in dark showed us the deletion of CRY1 and CRY2 made K, Na, Fe, B and Cu absorption disincentive,and the loss of CRY2 made a stronger inhibition of K+ absorption; and single CRY1 and CRY2 inhibited Ca absorption greatly, and the single deletion of CRY1 decreased P,Mg, S absorption; deletion CRY1 and CRY2 catalysted the absorption of Zn.In order to studies influence of Cryptochrome on K accumulation more in-depth, we do some more research on Col-4,cry1,cry2 and cry1cry2.With K~+ free treatment of the wild type Col-4 and the blue light mutants cry1,cry2 and cry1cry2 in blue light,the growth inhibition of root and hypocotyl of cry1cry2 was greater than others.Under K+sufficient conditions with blue light,the double mutant cry1cry2 had the highest K+content, but had the weakest water-holding capacity. Real-time RT-PCR showed the expressions of some K~+ transporter and channel genes such as AKT1,AtKC1 and AtKup1 were higher in cry1cry2.The results suggested that the deficient of CRY1 and CRY2 promoted K~+ accumulation.
