Crust in China suffers a series of construction evolution, and construction pattern and characteristic come into being nowadays. Because of complex geological structure and abruption developed, some geologial hazards such as earthquake, landslip and landslide often take place following crust activity. Among them ,fault structure is common geological structure in upper crust. Fault structure distribute widely and often form fault zone especially in growth zone . Fault structure's movement and acativition often initiate geologial hazards such as earthquake. Therefore, for well proceeding engineering construction under the condition of complex geology, especial site selection and layout of important projects and towns, crust stability is two of the most important influencing factors except economic condition and nature condition. In recent years, with the fast economic development of shandong peninsula urban agglomeration area city, it is very necessary to analyse and evaluate regional crust stability of this district so that we can serve for some engineering constructions .It is very significant to evaluate shandong peninsula urban agglomeration area's regional crust stability. It can help us to find out regional geology environment quality, capacity and bearing capacity level. All of those are convenient to provide a broad scientific and technical platform for regional social economy development, especial for geological environment protection, prevention and cure of geology hazard, important project layout and economic formations setting. Moreover, those will have some profound and lasting influences on layout, construction and economic development.In addition, structural faults are a common geological structure,and the distribution of structural faults is also very wide, especially in the zone where there are a number of faults,usually, structural faults formed fault zones. The movement of these faults or activated often lead to geological disasters such as earthquakes. Study structural faults distribution rule, activities, characteristics and formation mechanism is extremely important for understanding crustal structure, tectonic pattern, tectonic evolution and mineralization.On the basis of complete analysis to shandong peninsula urban agglomeration area's geology data, this thesis studys the distribution's fractal feature of structural faults and evaluates shandong peninsula urban agglomeration area's regional crust stability by fuzzy integrate judge method, organizes regional crust stability evaluation map. The research work in this paper mainly including the following aspects:(1) In this paper,we take the faults distribution map which scale is 1:300 million for research object, and use significant and fractal geometry to study the distribution feature of structural faults.(2) Making the best of multi-technique method including in-situ measurement and remote sensing, this thesis analyses shandong peninsula urban agglomeration area geography and geomorphy, areal geology, earthquake environment, geognosy district geology background data. At the same time, this thesis also finds out internal contacts about these data and regional crust stability.(3) This thesis detailed studies zonal basic principle and index system of regional crust stability.On the basis of general analysis crust stability evaluation model at home and abroad, this thesis sets up crust stability evaluation model based on fuzzy mathematics.(4) Applying fuzzy mathematics integrate judge method, this thesis divides shandong peninsula urban agglomeration area into stability area, basically stability area, relatively stability area and stable area. At the same time, the thesis organizes regional crust stability evaluation map.
