Network CORS Construction And The Application Of Urban Road Surveying

The generation of GPS technique brings revolutionary changes to the surveying technology. In especial, the real-time dynamic differential (RTK) positioning technology based on the carrier phase observation, has features of high precision positioning and simple operation, thus has become the most frequently-used positioning technology (in the measurement). With the rapid development of computer, networking and communication technology in the 21st century, the Continuously Operating Reference Stations which is based on the multi-base station network RTK technology, has become a hot spot studied in the surveying field in the whole world. In order to meet the needs of economic development, China quickened the pace of construction of CORS. Some domestic industry, regions and cities have established the CORS system and put into use, which achieved great social and economic benefits.With the rapid development of our economy and quickened pace of urbanization, the cities'population and the number of cars will continue to increase year by year. The original carrying capacity of cities'roads can not meet the reality needs, and the urban traffic problem will become increasingly serious. In order to meet the needs of social development, many cities of our country have an urgent need to be constructed, reconstructed and expanded. In the process of urban road construction, traditional surveying methods are of low efficiency due to the limit of topography condition. The network RTK technology of CORS system shows a great advantage (over them).This paper mainly studies the network CORS system construction of a certain city and the application of urban road surveying. It introduces the basic theory of CORS systematically, the city's CORS system construction and testing process, the application of CORS system in the city road engineering surveying and finally the CORS system and its application to the precision analysis.
