Tamarix hispida is the type of the plant which is most resistant to stress. It is an main desert shrub in Tarim riparian forest, with ecological adaptability, drought-resistant salinity and other physical characteristics, as well as to curb desertification and sand-fixing role, be able to scarce rainfall, high evaporation, wind growth of large areas of extreme drought, saline-alkali soil in the widely distributed around the Tarim Basin, and also be formed the main building of Tamarix hispida salt shrub species which has important ecological functions.Take halophytes to salt excretion plant Tamarix hispida as the experimental material, there were different levels of salt and drought stress, the total of salt treatment were 4 levels:3.0g/L,5.0g/L,10.0 g/L,15.0 g/L and 20.0 g/L; drought within 3 levels:OL (no irrigation),2.5L,5L, samples of the Na+ content were measured by inductively coupled plasma emission analyzer (ICP-AES).It was studied that the salt and drought stress and salt secretion function on Tamarix hispida, disscussed accumulation of the Tamarix hispida on two stress response mechanisms, theirs similarities and differences between drought and salt tolerance, analysed the ion transportation and selective absorption mechanism in salt stress environment. The results showed that:Na+ content of the basic trend in Tamarix hispida root, stem and leaf:stem
