The Application Of Geo-information TuPu In Urban Ecological Information Expression

Geo-information TuPu principle is a new research and new development for geography. Since it was proposed, its brand-new thinking of research has produced the great response at home and abroad. At present, the research on the Geo-information TuPu is still at the stage of developing and focuses on theory method. Meanwhile Geo-information TuPu is a methodology of spatial and temporal geographical analysis. It synthesizes the succinctness of comprehensive landscape maps and the abstractness of mathematical models. Geo-information Tupu is used to formulate the current situation, reconstruct the past and forecast the future.The main achievements of this paper are as follows:Two series of remote sensing and land use/land cover Geo-information TuPu in Nanjing are established, which take the multi-source remote sensing images as the main information source and the geographic information system as the technical support. These two series of Tupu can be used on the research of the city expansion. We can study the spatial and temporal distribution characteristic of cities in the different spatial criterion, for dynamically analyzing the process of the city growth, gather and the proliferation.In the past, Geo-information Tupu always used the static abstract two-dimension drawings or the series diagram form to express how the things and phenomena will change. However, this way lacks of the dynamic vision. The research studies the multi-dimensional and dynamic system to discover the way to apply multi-dimensional and dynamic visuallzation techniques on Geo-information TuPu.Besides, with the help of the geographic information system, three series of Nanjing Geo-information TuPu are also established, which take meteorological data, economic and social statistical data as the main information source. These three series of TuPu are meteorological data Geo-information TuPu, meteorological trend rate Geo-information TuPu and economic social statistical data Geo-information TuPu. Through those, we can study the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of meteorological, population and economy in the different spatial criterion.Finally, the research uses the database to realize the comprehensive Geo-information TuPu in Nanjing.
