To compare and comprehensively evaluate resistant plants in different times on Taoshugang municipal solid waste landfill in Changde, Hunan Province, field investigation, laboratory analysis and subordinate value evaluation were made during the latest 2 years. These resistance indicators were included:Chlorophyâ…¡Fluorescence, Chlorophyâ…¡, protein, antioxidant enzymes, proline, ascorbic acid, H2O2, MDA.Results of subordinate value evaluation indicated that plants with higher resistance were not the same on the sites closed for different years. Aster subulatus, Polygonum lapathifolium, Echinochloa crusgalli, Conyza canadensis and Phytolacca americana had better resistance on the 4-year closed landfill; while Aster subulatus, Polypogon fugax and Conyza canadensis had better resistance compared with other plants on the 9-year closed landfill; after being closed for 15 years, Iris tectorum, Leonurus villosissimus and Serissa japonica were the plants with the highest resistance. In this thesis, resistance indicators of the same plants on the same site in different times and indicators of the same plants in the same time period on different sites were compared and analyzed. For the specialized plants with better resistance above, comparison of indicators of the same plants in different times showed that Chlorophyâ…¡, antioxidant enzymes and proline of Iris tectorum and Leonurus villosissimus were closely related to plants'ability to resist; the small-molecule substances contents of Serissa japonica and Polypogon fugax could rise with the stress grew; antioxidant enzymes and small-molecule substances of Aster subulatus, Conyza canadensis and Echinochloa crusgalli were the major indicators of those plants against environmental stress; Chlorophyâ…¡, protein and catalase (CAT) of Polygonum lapathifolium and Phytolacca americana were adaptable to environmental change.Comparison of indicators of the same plants on different sites on April 2009 showed that contents of proline, catalase(CAT) and ascorbic acid of Iris tectorum, contents of photosynthesis indicators and proline of Conyza canadensis, Aster subulatus and Polypogon fugax increased with the stress deepened; comparison of indicators on June 2010 revealed that most protective indicators of Conyza canadensis, Iris tectorum, Polypogon fugax, Phytolacca americana and Aster subulatus were adaptable to environ-mental stress; results of comparison on August 2010 suggested that photosynthesis indicators, protein, antioxidant enzymes and proline of Conyza canadensis, Iris tectorum, Leonurus villosissimus and Echinochloa crusgalli were mostly active in response to environmental stress.Changes of resistance indicators of plants in different times and different sites indicated that, main resistance indicators against environmental stress varied with different plants, capacities and sensitivities of indicators were different, changes of indicators differed with the stress deepened.
