With the development of science and technology and implementation of 863 Project, there are strikingly incessant changes and rapid advancement in Chinese ocean technology. Internal wave is one of the most important factors that to ensure the sea military activity and facilities of oceanic safety. So widespread attention and great interest are triggered by internal wave of ocean Observation and Research. For further building system for internal wave experiments on observation in the deep water in South China Sea, to show the generation of internal wave in the South China Sea, and the spread of internal wave in the South China Sea, and its evolving mechanism, This paper discourse the development and research of the self-contained buoy system on monitor internal wave.This paper introduces the realization scheme of every module in self-contained buoy system. The program aim is high stability, corrosion resistance and Low Power. The main system functions file:(1) The buoy system can be lowered down and recycled safe through deep-sea acoustic release transponder realized.(2) Gain some information about temperature of ocean current,velocity of flow through oceanographic instrumentation of thermograph chain, CTD, ocean current meter.(3) Through the rational combination of group of floating ball and the anchorage department, get the gravity buoyancy proportion scientific.(4) Through the floating ball bracket design, realize ADCP's rack mounting, thus obtained current profile record with limits.The paper's focal points is these tries to design and exploitation:1,According to the need of temperature measurement, a thermo detector with high reliability and low power consumption was designed and manufactured. 2,Design the extensional organization of buoy system, to realize the rational gravity flotage proportion.3,Because of there is a large error in the GPS when gravity anchor entry and the position of sit-on-bottom, this paper get the real GPS Positioning of subsurface buoy's sit-on-bottom by using three-point fox method and screening method.This paper introduces the development of self-contained buoy system, and go to the South China Sea conducted a test on research vessels DongFanghong2 three times. Retrieve the buoy system successfully for many times, achieved many precious marine information, and gather significant experience at buoy system. Finally, the characteristic of this system is summarized, according to the actual result ever researched and developed, and we looked forward to next design.
