Dongyaozhuang gold deposit located in Wutai County of Shanxi Province is a typical greenstone belt gold deposit in the Wutai Mountain area. The deposit bedding developed in middle and lower parts of Hongmenyan Formation with distinct stratabound feature. Albite chlorite schists and sericite albite(quartz)schists and are the ore-hosting rocks. Gold mineralizations are strictly controlled by Lijiazhuang-Dacaoping ductile shear zone and Taihuai-Lijiazhuang homoclinal reversing compound syncline. So, it is also a typical of shear zone-type gold deposit.Greenstone belt gold deposit in China and the word is important gold deposit. The formation of the greenstone belt gold deposit follow elements migration, around the deposit will forming primary geochemical anomaly of Au, Ag, Cu, Pb, Bi. So, Lithogeochemical ore-prospecting is played an important role in circling exploration target and finding ore-body.At the base of comparative analysis of typical greenstone belt gold deposit's geologic features and geological-geochemical ore-prospecting models at home and abroad, summarized the zonation of gold deposit's primary halo and the superimposed of frontal halo, rear halo and geochemical halo, at last, established the geological-geochemical ore-prospecting model of Dongyaozhuang gold deposit.According to Dongyaozhuang gold deposit's geological-geochemical ore-prospecting model, carried out the rock geochemistry survey in the range of 2km2 across mining area of Dongyaozhuang gold deposit, and scale is 1:10000. Four NE-trending anomalies were circled. No.1 anomaly is the best prospecting target, may be reflected the mineralization bodies. No.2,3,4 may be reflected regional mineralization. The range of No.1 anomaly is 0.27km2, include Cu, Au, W, Bi, As, As, Sb. It's characteristic is large scale, high anomaly intensity and good identity of concentration centres for elements. The concentration zoning of anomaly elements is very distinctly. Anomaly was found near the surface occurence diabase-dike or rock alteration and mineralization distinctly. Because large scale, high anomaly intensity and good identity of concentration centres for Au, Forecasting reserve may reach a small-sized deposit scale.
