In this paper, the Ministry of Education and Research Degree Education Development Center announced the 20 universities in 2006 mathematics graduate training data for statistical analysis. Improved principal component analysis results showed that all schools in research-based, personnel training, community contributions, etc. uneven development, and overall evaluation results with the results given degree centers are different. Cluster analysis showed that the various schools development are different disciplines. Therefore, the macro-management and decision-making should grasp the overall development of Chinese universities subject status, classification and formulate relevant policies and programs to better guide the healthy development of China's higher education.Paper is divided into four sections:Chapter I, Introduction. This chapter describes the research background, research, method and innovation of this paper.Chapter II, this chapter introduces the relevant theoretical, focusing on the traditional principal component analysis theory and method.Chapter III, this chapter aimed at the shortcomings of the traditional principal component analysis, an improved principal component analysis and introduces the theories and methods.Chapter IV, using SAS software, by improving the principal component analysis method to the 20 high school mathematics subjects to evaluate the overall level of training graduate students.Chapter V summarizes the conclusions of this paper and suggested some further research.
