The research of ecological processes in wetland has achieved certain progress in our country, mainly concentrated in the swamp in Sanjiang Plain and Yellow River Delta Wetland. The Poyang Lake is the largest freshwater lake in china currently, which is inculuded in "the world important wetlands "in 1992. At present the studies including resources investigation, resources empoldered and utilized, the wetland resources dynamic changing and so on about the wetland of Poyang Lake are more. However, there are fewer studies on wetland ecological process aspect including biological process, chemical process and physical process. In this paper we researched the biological process, chemical process and physical process in Nanji Mountain wetland of Carex cinerascens. The purpose of the study is to reveal its characteristic of ecological process and mechanism and to provide the scientific evidence for the wetland ecosystem health evaluation. The result pointed out that the biomass growth and accumulation of Carex cinerascens various organs including overground stem and leaves and underground root and stem all has the obvious seasonal dynamic. The study also opened out the underground biomass is far higher than the biomass on the ground. The root biomass is higher than the biomass and the leaves biomass is the lesast. On early April, the maximum biomass of Carex cinerascens overground reached 1031.3g/m2 and underground arrived 5501g/m2. The litters of Carex cinerascens presents exponential change which accumulation of litters is increased with time. The analysis result indicated that nutrient contents of soil organic matter and total phosphorus in the Nanji Mountain wetland are higher, the total nitrogen is less. The the total nitrogen contents of Carex cinerascens demonstrated: leaves>stem>root and the total phosphorus revealed: root>stem>leaves. In soil and Carex cinerascens, the heavy metals are in the order of: Zn>Cu>Pb>Cd. The concentrations of N and P had an obvious seasonal dynamics in plant and soil, but the patterns were not the same. The nutrient contents between soil and Carex cinerascens is the overground is higher than on the ground, but the heavy metals is opposite. In the view of the whole growth season, the whole sunshine radiant energy reaching Carex cinerascens in Nanji Mountain wetland ecosystem is about 1961.1MJ/m2. The accumulation of the whole sunshine radiant energy presents singlet type in different time in a day. The energy conversion efficiency of solar radiation in Carex cinerascens in Nanji Mountain wetland reached 1.613%.
