| As the fast developing and widely application of GPS, it plays an important role in urban survey day by day. Now, Continuous Operational Reference System(CORS), based on multiple base stations network RTK technology, has become the focus of the development of GPS application in urban survey.Used widely, in the meanwhile, CORS shows its disadvantage, which field work and home work can not go on simultaneously.To improve the disadvantage of CORS, concerned in above, this article designs a plan: remote survey data transmission system based on GPRS, according to GPRS communications and embedded system technology. As the plan supposed, the data which is collected by CORS in wild can be sent to the data service centre in far away immediately, and processed in time. According to the plan, the efficiency of production is raised much more, to some extent.The survey data transmission system based on GPRS has two parts:DTU (Data Terminal unit) and DSC (Data Service Centre).The system makes the network communications become true by introducing in C/S model and a called connection-oriented TCP service. DTU is composed by processor, as the control model, communication model and other peripheral equipments. DTU connects GPRS network first, according to GPRS communication, and then enters into Internet from GPRS network. DSC is composed by a server which can communicate with Internet.This article gives out a detail project, the network establishing and communications, and makes it become true, based on analysing GPRS network architecture and characters throughly. In this project, processor ARM9 and communication model MC55 compose the hardware platform, and Windows CE as the software platform for developing application software. According to analysing TCP/IP in detail, this article designs DSC by class Winsock supplyed by MFC, and carrys communications between DTU and DSC out. The database application program introduces in database programming technique, ODBC, to manage the survey data.
