Research On The Impact Of Platform Economy On Increasing Farmers’ Income

The platform economy plays an increasingly prominent role in economic and social development.In 2019,the State Council issued the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Standardized and Healthy Development of the Platform Economy",which pointed out that "the Internet Platform Economy is a new organizational form of productivity and a new driving force for economic development",beneficial to resource allocation optimization and industrial upgrading,and increasing employment.In the era of digital economy,how to leverage the positive role of platform economy in promoting farmers’ income growth is an important issue for achieving common prosperity.Increasing farmers’ income has long been an issue that the CPC has attached great importance to.At the beginning of the founding of New China,the CPC and the government carried out land system reform to promote the development of agricultural production.Through the "three major reforms",they established the basic socialist system,liberated the social productivity,and improved the living conditions of farmers by vigorously promoting water conservancy,establishing a medical and health system and other livelihood undertakings.After the reform and opening up,a series of institutional reforms such as rural management system and circulation system were carried out to promote the development of productivity,and special poverty alleviation and large-scale development poverty alleviation were carried out,making tremendous efforts to increase the income of farmers.Since the18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the CPC has continued to promote the cause of anti-poverty,launched the battle against poverty,and implemented the targeted poverty alleviation strategy.With the joint efforts of the CPC and all the people,we have won the battle against poverty,completely eliminated absolute poverty,and achieved the centennial goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.The comprehensive strength of the country has been significantly enhanced,the living standards of the people have achieved a leapfrog improvement,especially in rural areas,and farmers’ income has been significantly improved.However,the contradiction of imbalanced and insufficient development is still prominent,with farmers’ income still low,income growth slowing down,and the urban-rural income gap still large,causing bottlenecks in farmers’ income growth.How to break through the dilemma of increasing farmers’ income,promote sustained and stable income growth,and promote the process of common prosperity has become an urgent problem to be solved.The rise of platform economy has provided new directions and ideas for increasing farmers’ income,but while platform economy provides opportunities for income growth,there is also a risk of exacerbating the "digital divide" and suppressing farmers’ income growth.In order to better leverage the role of platform economy in promoting farmers’ income growth,this article analyzes the level of development of China’s platform economy,how platform economy promotes farmers’ income growth,what is the effect of income growth,and how to achieve it.This article explores the impact of platform economy on increasing farmers’ income,following the approach of "cause analysis-framework design-effect testing-mechanism analysis-implementation form exploration".After reviewing relevant theories at home and abroad,this article first analyzes the necessity of promoting farmers’ income through platform economy.Chapter 3 of this article analyzes the current development status of the platform economy and the difficulties in increasing farmers’ income,as well as the domestic and foreign practices of promoting farmers’ income through the platform economy.It explores the necessity of promoting farmers’ income through the platform economy from three aspects:prerequisite conditions,basic driving forces,and practical foundations.In terms of prerequisites,the platform economy has a certain foundation for development.By establishing an evaluation index system for the development level of platform economy,analyzing the current situation of platform economy development in the country and various provinces and cities,and clarifying the possibility of platform economy promoting farmers’ income increase;In terms of basic driving force,the dilemma of increasing farmers’ income is the basic driving force for platform economy to promote farmers’ income growth;In terms of practical foundation,the practice of promoting farmers’ income through platform economy at home and abroad is the practical foundation for promoting farmers’ income through platform economy.Secondly,in Chapter 4,this article constructs a political and economic analysis framework for how to systematically analyze the issue of increasing farmers’ income under the background of platform economy development.This mainly includes four aspects: the purpose and basis of constructing an analysis framework for promoting farmers’ income through platform economy,the main content of the MSE analysis framework,and the implementation form of promoting farmers’ income through platform economy.Among them,the mechanism of platform economy promoting farmers’ income increase is the core content of this article.This article explores the mechanism of platform economy promoting farmers’ income increase from different dimensions such as subject,structure,and environment,and answers the question of how platform economy promotes farmers’ income increase.The main form of promoting farmers’ income through platform economy is to explore different modes and development directions of promoting farmers’ income through platform economy in different regions from a practical perspective.Thirdly,this article provides specific analysis in Chapters 5,6,7,and 8 on the two core issues of whether platform economy can promote farmers’ income growth and how to do so.Firstly,Chapter 5 tests the effect of platform economy on increasing farmers’ income based on macro data and CHFS micro data,and concludes that platform economy can positively promote farmers’ income,answering the question of whether platform economy can promote farmers’ income.Secondly,Chapters 6,7,and 8 of this article qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the impact mechanisms of factors such as human capital,industrial structure,and urbanization on the process of promoting farmers’ income through platform economy from three dimensions: subject,structure,and environment.They answer the question of how platform economy promotes farmers’ income growth.Fourthly,in response to the issue of how to achieve the role of platform economy in increasing farmers’ income,Chapter 9 of this article analyzes the practices of promoting farmers’ income through platform economy in different models and regions.Firstly,the implementation methods of promoting farmers’ income through platform economy under government led models,enterprise led models,and social led models were explored,and case studies were used to illustrate.Secondly,the implementation paths of promoting farmers’ income through platform economy in different regions were analyzed.Based on a comparative analysis of the income situation of farmers in each region,different ideas were proposed to promote farmers’ income through platform economy in the eastern,central,western,and northeastern regions.Fifth,Chapter 10 of this article provides policy recommendations on how to leverage the role of platform economy in promoting farmers’ income growth.Based on the theoretical analysis and empirical test results of the mechanism of platform economy promoting farmers’ income increase,as well as the research content of the realization of platform economy promoting farmers’ income increase,this article mainly suggests two aspectss: how to amplify the role of platform economy in promoting farmers’ income increase and how to prevent the risk of platform economy widening income gap,including the process of platform economy infrastructure investment,platform application adoption,and platform income increase guarantee,The general policy recommendations proposed to amplify the effect of platform economy on increasing farmers’ income,as well as key policy recommendations to promote the improvement of rural human capital,optimize rural industrial structure,and continuously promote urbanization construction.Sixth,Chapter 11 of this article is the main conclusion and outlook of the paper,mainly summarizing the research content of this article and exploring the problems that need to be solved in the next step.The possible innovation of this article lies in the construction of an analytical framework for promoting farmers’ income through platform economy from the perspective of political economy.The existing research on the issue of promoting farmers’ income through platform economy mainly examines the effects of e-commerce and other platforms on farmers’ income from a quantitative perspective,or analyzes the mechanism of platform economy from a qualitative perspective,but the analysis dimension is relatively single.This article is based on the basic stance,viewpoints,and methods of Marxist political economy,drawing on relevant theories of Western economics,and constructing a multi-dimensional analysis framework of "subject M-structure S-environment E".It conducts an in-depth analysis of the mechanism,effects,and implementation forms of platform economy promoting farmers’ income increase.The second is to empirically test the mechanism of promoting farmers’ income through platform economy from multiple dimensions.The existing empirical analysis on the effect of platform economy on increasing farmers’ income is either based on the overall effect or a mechanism test at a certain level,lacking systematic investigation.This article first analyzes the revenue increasing mechanism of platform economy.Secondly,it examines the mechanism of platform economy promoting farmers’ income from three dimensions,systematically examining the size,heterogeneity issues,and implementation mechanisms of platform economy promoting farmers’ income.The third is to classify and explore the forms of platform economy promoting farmers’ income increase.After theoretical analysis and empirical testing of the mechanism of platform economy promoting farmers’ income increase,this article explores the classification and implementation forms of platform economy promoting farmers’ income increase in different models and regions from a practical perspective.Comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the platform economy promoting farmers’ income growth model under the leadership of different main forces such as government,enterprises,and society.Based on the analysis of the development level,total income and structure of the platform economy in different regions,as well as the size of the platform economy’s income growth effect,this study explores the implementation forms of the platform economy promoting farmers’ income growth in different regions,combining standardization and empirical analysis,and analyzing specific problems,This is the innovation of this article in exploring the forms of promoting farmers’ income increase through platform economy.The fourth is to propose general and key policy recommendations for promoting farmers’ income through platform economy.When scholars propose countermeasures and suggestions for the development of the platform economy,they often focus on how to play the role of the platform economy or propose countermeasures and suggestions to address the risks of monopoly and widening income gap brought about by the platform economy,lacking dialectical thinking.On the one hand,the platform economy plays an important role in promoting economic and social development,and on the other hand,it does bring certain risks.When proposing policy recommendations to play the role of the platform economy in promoting farmers’ income,it should be treated dialectically and prudently.This article proposes general policy recommendations to promote better development of the platform economy and key policy recommendations in the process of promoting farmers’ income increase through the platform economy,starting from two aspects: how to amplify the effect of promoting farmers’ income increase through the platform economy and preventing the risk of widening the income gap caused by the "digital divide".This is an innovative point in the policy recommendations of promoting farmers’ income increase through the platform economy.
