Currently,a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation is reshaping the global innovation landscape.The fields,ways and paradigms of innovation have undergone profound adjustments,the original single internal innovation is unsustainable,and should shift to comprehensive open innovation that synergies users,products,organizations and markets.Due to the demand and solution information possessed by users is sticky and of high transfer cost,user innovation has a natural advantage over enterprise innovation,whose commercial value cannot be ignored.The user innovation possibility is not equally distributed,and is always concentrated in a special group called "lead users".Lead users have rich frontier requirements knowledge,product knowledge and technical knowledge,if the management of lead user innovation knowledge is strengthened,the innovation knowledge source of enterprises can be expanded,the innovation cycle of enterprises is shortened,thus providing market support for the commercialization of enterprise frontier technologies,further improve the enterprise innovation performance.Therefore,go into the innovation knowledge management of lead user can not only increase the richness and diversity of the innovation knowledge of enterprises,but also brings a new perspective to the under-researched domain of innovation management in organizations.Based on open innovation theory,user innovation theory,resource-based theory and Knowledge management theory,in accordance with the knowledge management logic process "knowledge identification--knowledge sharing--knowledge adoption--knowledge effect",this thesis goes into the knowledge management of lead user innovation in details,aiming to uncover the black box of lead user innovation knowledge management.Firstly,this paper identifies the innovative knowledge path of lead users,the identification of lead users is the premise of implementing the lead user approach and the key segment for enterprise to obtain external knowledge;Secondly,this paper explores the influencing factors of lead user’s innovative knowledge sharing,due to the innovation knowledge of lead user is relatively dispersed and mostly tacit,obtaining and integration is difficult,it is necessary to explore the internal mechanism of lead user knowledge sharing;Thirdly,this paper investigates the mutual influence mechanism of lead user innovative knowledge adoption and user’s purchase decisions,lead user innovation knowledge can affect more users and realize greater value only when it is adopted and put into the market by enterprises;Finally,this paper analyzes the effect of lead user innovation knowledge,it is particularly important for enterprises innovation development to use lead use innovation knowledge transformation results to influence the enterprises innovation performance.Main conclusions as follows:(1)Automatic identification of lead user innovation knowledge.Using user data from the open innovation community,this paper proposes three recognition methods: behavioral data prior,fusion of behavioral data and content data,content data prior.The experiment result shows that: The recognition effect of the content data feature decision fusion method is better than the other two method;The decision tree model algorithm is better than the linear regression model,and Ada Boost algorithm works best.Therefore,when identifying lead user innovative knowledge,the content data characteristics are preferred to observe the recognition results.(2)Investigation of the internal mechanism of lead user innovative knowledge sharing.This part focuses on the relationship among lead user characteristics,autonomous motivation/controlled motivation,information capital and innovative knowledge sharing.The results are showing below: The characteristics of lead users have a significant positive effect on innovative knowledge sharing behavior;Both autonomous motivation and controlled motivation play a partial mediating role in influencing the lead user characteristics on innovative knowledge sharing behavior;Information capital plays a positive moderating role between autonomous motivation/controlled motivation and knowledge sharing behavior.(3)Investigation of decision-making process of lead user innovation knowledge adoption.This part focuses on the mutual influencemechanism of lead user innovative knowledge adoption and user’s purchase decision.Considering enterprise innovation cost,innovation income,user income,purchase cost and other factors,an evolutionary game model between enterprises and users is established,whether the innovative products are produced by the enterprise adopting the lead user innovative knowledge,the evolutionarily stable strategy of user groups’ purchase decisions for different innovative products,simulation is carried out by Matlab at last.It is found that under nine different conditions in three cases,there exsit four evolutionarily stable strategies after the users and enterprises learning and imitating from other individuals with better fitness in the group.(4)A case study on the innovative knowledge effect of lead users.It focus on the influence of lead users’ innovative knowledge on enterprise innovation performance,namely,the logical relationship between the "sharing-adoption" fit ability of lead users’ innovative knowledge,knowledge integration,and enterprise innovation performance.The research shows that when the lead users’ innovative knowledge sharing and knowledge adoption of an enterprise are in a fit state,the enterprise innovation performance under the“high sharing-high adoption” fit state is higher than that under the “low sharing-low adoption” fit state;When the lead users’ innovation knowledge sharing and knowledge adoption of an enterprise are in a mismatch state,the enterprise innovation performance under the “low sharing-high adoption” mismatch state is higher than that under the “high sharing-low adoption” mismatch state;the enterprise innovation performance under the“sharing-adoption” fit state of the enterprise’s lead users’ innovation knowledge is better than that under the “sharing-adoption" mismatch state;Knowledge integration plays a mediating role in the influence of “sharing-adoption” fit ability of lead users’ innovation knowledge on enterprise innovation performance.Therefore,improving the knowledge management capabilities of lead users can help enhance enterprise innovation performance.Based on above research conclusions,this paper proposes the following management suggestions: firstly,creative flowering,identifying innovation knowledge to stimulate the potential value of knowledge;secondly,platform generating force,linking lead uses,to promote innovative knowledge sharing;thirdly,ability fit,improving the level of knowledge,to enhance enterprise innovation performance;fourthly,manpower support,strengthening the combination of industry and science,to promote the closed-loop training of talent;fifth,ecological empowerment,the government took the initiative to create a strong atmosphere of knowledge.To improve the innovation performance,enterprises should consider their own actual conditions,pay attention to strengthen the management of lead users’ innovation knowledge,accelerate the internalization of external knowledge into internal knowledge,and promote the transformation of innovation results. |
