Urbanization is a momentous carrier for the development of human civilization.Transportation is a significant impetus for urbanization, and urbanization has a higher demand for transportation development.Recently,China has entered the New-type urbanization development stage. The "National New-type Urbanization Plan(2014~2020)" issued by the State Council of China proposed to promote the development of New-type urbanization with people oriented, equalization of public services, clustering, ecologicalization and urban-rural integration, and strengthen the comprehensive transportation network for supporting and guiding the urbanization pattern. This research takes new-type urbanization and comprehensive transportation development as the research object, and conducts a systematic and in-depth study of the relationship between them. The main research contents are as follows:1)Firstly,the research analyses the interactive relationship between New-type urbanization and comprehensive transportation developments, introduced the "push-pull" theory to analyses the relationship between the new-type urbanization and comprehensive transportation developments, and proposed a quantitative analysis method of the interactive relationship based on the comprehensive index measurement of the two.Secondly,Take the whole country of China and several typical provinces as examples, construct an econometric model to reveal the interactive evolution relationship and spatial differences between New-type urbanization and comprehensive transportation development.2)The research proposed the concept of mutual adaptation between New-type urbanization and comprehensive transportation development, and reveal the mechanism of co-adaptability between new-type urbanization and comprehensive transportation development.First,it defined the connotation of co-adaptability from three levels: the compatibility of comprehensive transportation development and transportation demand under the New-type urbanization;the compatibility of comprehensive transportation development guiding the spatial layout of New-type urbanization;and the mutual adaptation of comprehensive transportation development and ecological environment of New-type urbanization.Second, analyzes the influencing factors of the co-adaptability between them.Third, combines the industrial location selection model, population flow model, and traffic gravity model to reveal the co-adaptability mechanism between New-type urbanization and comprehensive transportation development.3)The research proposed the system evaluation of mutual adaptation between New-type urbanization and comprehensive transportation development.First,it built evaluation index from three dimensions: the compatibility of comprehensive transportation development and transportation demand under the New-type urbanization;the compatibility of comprehensive transportation development guiding the spatial layout of New-type urbanization;and the mutual adaptation of comprehensive transportation development and ecological environment of New-type urbanization.Second, determine the evaluation criteria of the index.Third, based on the improved TOPSIS model,to construct the evaluation model for co-adaptation between New-type urbanization and comprehensive transportation development, and then, the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)is used to calculate the weight of indexes.Fourth, take Wuhan as the demonstration city to evaluate the mutual adaptation of New-type urbanization and comprehensive transportation development.4)To realize the mutual adaptation of New-type urbanization and comprehensive transportation development,a traffic travel structure optimization model was conducted with consideration of autonomous driving scenarios.Firstly,it analyses the comprehensive transportation development model for the co-adaptability of the two.Secondly,it study the changes in traffic mode characteristics and the impact on the traffic travel structure under the scenarios of autonomous vehicles.Thirdly, the optimization model for traffic travel structure is constructed, taking the corridor traffic between the central city and Yangluo new city of Wuhan as an example;using the Genetic algorithms model and Particle Swarm optimization method to obtain the optimal traffic travel structure, thus put forward relevant development suggestions.
