challenges it faces.Compared with“universal values”,the common values of all mankind start from “real people” and take the common interests of mankind as the point of convergence,demonstrating mankind’s unanimous aspirations for peace,development,fairness,justice,democracy and freedom as a community.Nowadays,as the great changes unprecedented in the past century accelerate,and the ensuing global problems continue to come to the fore,Xi Jinping,in line with his responsibility and commitment as the “China of the world,”has put forward the innovative concept of promoting the common values of all mankind,which provides the world with a new way of value in the midst of a complex and profound transformation situation.In order for a theory to be effective,it must be grasped by the masses and then used to guide practice.Thus,the key to realizing the transformation of the common values of all mankind from a national initiative to a global consensus is to gain the understanding and recognition of the international community before it can be consciously put into practice.The international recognition of the common values of all mankind is confronted with extraterritorial value inertia and value preference,which will inevitably touch the values of other countries and their underlying practical interests,and cannot be realized overnight.At present,academics have carried out
