In his later years,Lenin gave a profound answer to the question of the times,"How can economically and culturally backward countries make the transition to socialism?",which innovated and developed the theory of scientific socialism, and formed a systematic socialist ideology in his later years. In order to accurately grasp Lenin’s Socialist Ideologyin his later years,it is necessary to comprehensively understand the historical context, core connotation, innovation and development, significance and value of Lenin’s Socialist Ideologyin his later years from the perspectives of the practice of socialist construction in the Soviet Union, the contemporary development of Leninism, and the history of scientific socialist movement.Lenin’s socialist ideas in his later years were firmly based on "existing ideological materials" and at the same time deeply rooted in "material and economic facts".As a great proletarian revolutionary and outstanding Marxist theorist,Lenin not only led the Russian people in the great struggle for power, but also led the Russian workers and peasants in actively exploring ways of transition to socialism that suited Russia’s national conditions. In this complex two-way interaction between "theory guides practice" and "practice nourishes theory",Lenin not only inherited and developed the basic principles of scientific socialism established by the founders of Marxism, and the theoretical conception of the crossing of the "Kafdin Gorge" as the core content of the theory of Eastern society, but also formed his own original theory of imperialism. On this basis, the systematic Lenin’s Socialist Ideology in his later years was finally formed. The core of Lenin’s Socialist Ideology in his later years was to answer the question of the times,"How can economically and culturally backward countries make the transition to socialism?".The theory believed that economically and culturally backward countries could embark on the road to socialism before developed countries, and that they could first seize power and then gradually make the transition to socialism, but victory in the seizure of power was not the same as complete victory in the socialist revolution. The transition to socialism for economically and culturally backward countries should take the following relevant measures: firstly, they must correctly deal with the contradictions between socialism and communism, socialism and capitalism, and socialism and the pre-capitalist factors;and secondly, they must "unite all the forces that can be united",including workers and peasants,as well as bourgeois experts. In the process of following Lenin’s logical path to find the answer to the central question of "how to make the transition to socialism in economically and culturally backward countries",we can see the innovation and development of Lenin’s Socialist Ideology in his later years. The unity of adherence to the basic position and continuous reform and innovation is the fundamental guideline for the innovation and development of Lenin’s Socialist Ideology in his later years.Continuously promoting the nationalization of the basic principles of scientific socialism is the basic direction of the innovation and development of Lenin’s Socialist Ideology in his later years: combining the basic principles of socialist theory with the characteristics of the nation by means of the innovation of the essence of socialism, combining the basic principles of the socialist movement with the actual situation of the nation by means of the cognition of socialist realities and combining the basic principles of the socialist society with the development of the nation by means of the socialist construction practice. The "fundamental change" in the view of socialism is a concrete manifestation of the innovation and development of Lenin’s Socialist Ideology in his later years: a profound change in the specific tasks of work,a fundamental reversal of the view of cooperatives, and a significant change in the view of the process of world revolution. In the great practice of leading the Russian proletarian revolution,Lenin inherited and developed Marxism and formed his own unique system of thought,Leninism.Leninism consists of the philosophical idea of the unity of dialectics, epistemology and logic, the critical theory of capital with the theory of imperialism as its core, the idea of socialism symbolized by the theory of "one country wins first",and the theory of proletarian political parties characterized by the principle of democratic centralism. At the core of Lenin’s system of thought was the idea of socialism, especially Lenin’s Socialist Ideology in his later years which began with the New Economic Policy.Lenin’s Socialist Ideology in his later years not only has a very important theoretical value, but also has a practical value that cannot be ignored. Its theoretical value is reflected in adhering to and perfecting the basic principles of scientific socialism, enriching and developing the Eastern social theory founded by Marx and Engels in his later years, and providing theoretical nourishment for the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics; Its practical value is reflected in providing a "critical weapon" for re-examining the "Soviet Revolution",providing directional guidance for building socialism in economically and culturally backward countries, and providing guidance for the practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
