| During the all-out War of Resistance against Japan,the Jin-Cha-Ji Border Area was the first anti-Japanese base area opened up by the Communist Party of China(CPC)behind the enemy lines.It not only achieved great achievements in the struggle against the enemy,but also had many establishments in the economic,political,social,cultural,educational and other fields,which made it once hailed as "a model anti-Japanese base area behind the enemy lines and a model area for the united front" by the Central Committee of the CPC.Behind the "model" lied the power of the CPC’s ideological and political education,interpreting the truth value of the statement that "ideological and political work is lifeline of economic work and all other work." The Jin-Cha-Ji Border Area was not only the forefront of the CPC to lead the people to adhere to the War of Resistance against Japan,but also the "test field" where the theoretical system of the ideological and political education theory of the CPC matured.Here,the series of ideological and political education theories and principles formed by the CPC were widely and creatively used.Meanwhile,much valuable experience was summarized in practice to further enrich the CPC’s ideological and political theory system.The ideological and political education of the CPC in the Jin-Cha-Ji Border Area not only contained the genetic code that led the people to win the victory of the War of Resistance against Japan,but also cultivated the inherent laws of the CPC’s ideological and political education development,reflecting the essence of the CPC’s ideological and political education.This thesis removed the mist of the history of the War of Resistance against Japan,clarified the internal structure and pattern of the CPC’s ideological and political education in the Jin-Cha-Ji Border Area,analyzed the pioneering exploration of the CPC’s ideological and political education,and summarized the historical experience of the CPC’s ideological and political education so as to further enrich the CPC’s treasure trove of ideological and political education theory and practice,and through learning from history,to highlight the era value of the CPC’s ideological and political education during the War of Resistance against Japan.In studying any issue,Marxism’s absolute requirement is to examine it under the historical conditions of that time.This thesis started with analyzing the historical situation of the ideological and political education in the Jin-Cha-Ji Border Area.First of all,it defined the time and spatial scope of the CPC’s ideological and political education in the Border Area according to historical facts.Then,it inspected the historical environment of the CPC’s ideological and political education in the Border Area from both domestic and foreign perspectives.Furthermore,based on identity characteristics,it divided CPC’s ideological and political education targets in the early stage of the formation of the Border Area,and analyzed the team status and ideological status of different educational targets.Finally,it grasped the favorable conditions for the implementation of the CPC’s ideological and political education in the Border Area from the following three aspects--the legitimacy status of the Jin-Cha-Ji Border Area,the establishment and improvement of the CPC organization,and the revolutionary consciousness of the masses.The inspection and analysis of these important factors laid foundation for persistently exploring the internal structure and mechanism of the CPC’s ideological and political education in the Jin-Cha-Ji Border Area from the outside to the inside.On the one hand,this thesis examined the principles,contents and methods of the CPC’s ideological and political education in the Jin-Cha-Ji Border Area.Among them,the principles of the CPC’s ideological and political education were the basic criteria that educators must follow in ideological and political education practice activities.The CPC’s ideological and political education in the Border Area established four principles in practice: "putting the War of Resistance against Japan above everything else";"consolidating the CPC in politics and ideology";"combining the improvement of people’s livelihood with civil rights protection";"dynamically adjusting according to time,location and situation".These "four principles"originated from practice and serving practice.They played a guiding and regulatory role in the CPC’s ideological and political education practice in the Border Area to ensure that the CPC’s ideological and political education was not biased or distorted.The establishment of the principles of ideological and political education provided basic guidelines for educators to transmit and impart ideological and political education contents to education targets.The contents of the CPC’s ideological and political education in Border Area mainly included the following aspects: the "education of Marxist theories","propaganda and education of the strategy guidelines of resistance against Japan","education of CPC’s routes,guidelines and policies","education of domestic and international situation",and "promotion and education of internationalist spirit".It was necessary to adopt a certain method to effectively transmit and instill these contents to the educated.The CPC adhered to starting from reality and exploring the formation of ideological and political education methods with distinctive characteristics of the Border Area,such as "taking a clear-cut stand" ideological indoctrination,"emotional resonance" induction and inspiration,demonstration and guidance“ under the leadership of superiors ”,"spiritual inspiration of "heroism," and "immersive"cultural infiltration.The principles,contents and methods of the CPC’s ideological and political education in the Border Area were a unity of internal connection.It existed in a static form,and it worked in the practical activities of ideological and political education in dynamic forms.On the other hand,the thesis studied the CPC’s ideological and political education carriers and its discourse system.The CPC’s ideological and political education carrier and discourses were not chaotic.Instead,they had rules to follow and evidence to rely on,forming a mutually influencing and complementary system.The Border Area built varied ideological and political education carriers of media with "two newspapers and one magazine" as the mainstay,diversified ideological and political education carriers of activities with the "mass movement" as the main body,and popular ideological and political education carriers of cultures with "literary works" as the theme.Relying on these three major carriers,the Border Area established the "Trinity" discourse system,including text discourse,verbal discourse,and behavior discourse.The "Trinity" discourse system had a clear value positioning and also showed distinctive characteristics.Ideological and political education carriers were closely related to discourse.The Border Area not only focused on the "selection" and "optimization" of the carriers of ideological and political education discourse,but also paid attention to the "presentation" and "expression" of the carriers of ideological and political education discourse.The Border Area properly handled the relationship between the two aspects and made them work together to promote the practical activities of the CPC’s ideological and political education.The CPC’s ideological and political education in the Jin-Cha-Ji Border Area was a creative practical activity.It had both the characteristics of the Border Area and accumulation of historical experience.From a characteristic point of view,the ideological and political education in the Border Area was systematic,with its foundation supported through different methods.It used "rent reduction and interest reduction" to strengthen its "economic" foundation,employed the "three-three system" to consolidate its "political" foundation,adopted "Mao Zedong Selected Works" to strengthen its "theoretical" foundation,used the "rectification movement" to consolidate its "ideological" foundation,used the "revolutionary literature and art" to construct its "cultural" foundation,and used the "guerrilla newspaper running" to optimize its "environmental" foundation.The process of laying the foundation in economy,politics,theory,ideology,culture,and environment was not only a process of creating conditions for ideological and political education,but also a process of ideological and political education activities From the perspective of historical experience,the historical experience of the CPC’s ideological and political education in Border Area was rich,mainly reflected in the adhering to the following nine aspects,which were favorable for doing a good job in ideological and political education: "central task of War of Resistance against Japan" was the fundamental prerequisite;the "meeting the Eighth Route Army" and "meeting the CPC" was the inherent requirement;the "two fronts" to strengthen the construction of ideological and political teams was the key link;the role of mass media as the "horn of the nation" was an important measure;the combination of "political mobilization" and "political offensive" was an effective means;the establishment of "small organizations" to realize "great unity" was a realistic choice;the role of schools as the "main battle position" was a key job;the integration of the "Four Styles" construction was an inevitable requirement;the "mass line" was the basic guarantee.The Border Area has established its due historical position,and also had inspired the CPC’s ideological and political education in the new era.Under the historical conditions of that time,the CPC’s ideological and political education in the Border Area became an important "test field" for the theory of the CPC’s ideological and political education theory to mature,promoted the "Marxist Sinicization" theory to reach a new stage,made ideological preparations for the construction of a "new democratic society",and established the banner of the Marxist political party’s "internationalist spirit".Based on the current needs of the CPC’s ideological and political education,referring to the CPC’s ideological and political education in the Border Area,the CPC’s ideological and political education in the new era should stabilize the "steering wheel" of ideological and political education with the "people as the center",strengthen the "lifeline" of "the CPC’s absolute leadership over ideological and political education",deeply cultivate the "responsibility field" of ideological and political education to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,strengthen the "big battlefield" of ideological and political education in "villages and communities",build a "new highland" of ideological and political education with "multi-dimensional carrier integration," and create a "shared community" of ideological and political education with "three subjects" interaction.Exploring the CPC’s ideological and political education in the Jin-Cha-Ji Border Area during the all-out War of Resistance against Japan is the lifeblood of the CPC’S ideological and political education.Basing on history,understanding the past and reflecting on the present,would inject endless vitality and momentum into the CPC’s ideological and political education in the new era. |
