work.General Secretary Xi Jinping carried out a comprehensive work deployment with far-sighted strategic vision and resolute political wisdom,put forward innovative new ideas,new viewpoints and new judgments,and thus formed Xi Jinping’s important statements on news and public opinion work.The important statements are a gradually established scientific theory system based on fully inheriting Marxist journalism,profoundly summarizing the experience and lessons of the party’s news and public opinion work in the process of revolution,construction and reform in China,as well as correctly and scientifically analyzing and judging the new situation,new changes and new requirements in the field of news and public opinion in contemporary China.Xi Jinping’s important statements on news and public opinion work,which innovate the sinicization of Marxist news thought and take on distinctive Chinese characteristics and times consciousness,serve as a program of action to guide the party’s news and public opinion work in new era.Through a systematic review on the series of important speeches in question,this thesis deeply analyzes the theoretical basis and realistic conditions of Xi
