Since entering the new century, the world is experiencing unprecedented changes.Focusing on Japan,it can be recognized that after the transition from Hiroshima to Beautiful Harmony,Japan’s politics and diplomacy have undergone many significant changes, and Japan’s diplomatic strategy, especially in Northeast Asia, has entered a period of significant transformation.Among them, the landmark event of the times was the end of Shinzo Abe’s long-term regime and his disappearance from the Japanese political stage. After Japan entered the post Abe era in politics and diplomacy, the Japan’s government accelerated the transformation of its diplomatic strategy and embarked on a dangerous path of building a strong military and enriching the country.Analyzing and studying the transformation of Japan’s diplomacy strategy in Northeast Asia from a macro perspective,as well as the political and diplomatic legacy left by Shinzo Abe’s long-term governance from a micro perspective,is an important breakthrough for us to observe and understand the historical transformation of Japan’s politics and diplomacy. The research perspective and problem awareness of the article lie in taking the inheritance and sublation of Abe’s diplomatic heritage as a clue and entry point, and analyzing the strategic concept changes and policy practices of the Yoshihide Suga government, especially the Fumio Kishida government,on the transformation of Japan’s diplomacy strategy in Northeast Asia,to explore the legacy issues of Abe’s diplomacy and its profound impact on Japan’s diplomatic strategy transformation,Analyze and prospect the direction selection and policy path of the Japan’s government’s diplomacy strategy transformation in Northeast Asia during the post Abe era, explaining and interpreting the development and future trends of Japan’s diplomatic strategy. The paper attempts to use international relations theories such as neoclassical realism as the basic theoretical framework for research, while closely combining the reality of Japan’s foreign strategy and policy, reasonably absorbing and drawing on various theoretical research methods at home and abroad, and comprehensively applying them. The article argues that the existing Western international relations theory, while interpreting Japan’s diplomatic strategy issues, has a clear theoretical paradigm that cannot effectively explain the existing reality and future trends of Japan’s diplomatic strategy. The paper attempts to draw on the various theoretical methods mentioned above, absorb and draw on the rich achievements of domestic and foreign academic research on Japan’s politics and diplomacy, and explore new theories and methods for analyzing Japan’s diplomatic strategy. The purpose of the paper is to understand the basic process and focus of Japan’s diplomatic strategy transformation in the early 21stcentury,based on the awareness of the continuation and changes of Japan’s basic diplomatic concepts and strategies, and with the inheritance and abandonment of Abe’s diplomatic heritage as the basic clue, through the analysis of the diplomatic strategic concepts, policy practices and their impacts of the two Japan’s governments after the resignation of the second Abe Shinzo administration,Interpret the transformation direction and practical process of Japan’s diplomacy strategy in Northeast Asia. The paper aims to analyze the diplomatic strategy transformation, and policy practice of the Japan’s government in the post Abe era,in order to understand and grasp the evolution process and future development trends of Japan’s diplomatic strategy after the Cold War.Through historical reflection and structural exploration, this article explains the basic context of the transformation of Japan’s diplomacy strategy in Northeast Asia and its inherent correlation with its overall diplomatic strategy transformation. Therefore, this article not only has important theoretical significance in exploring and improving the theoretical framework and research methods of Japan’s diplomatic research, but also has important practical reference significance for the deeper understanding of Japan’s diplomacy and even international relations in Northeast Asia. The research structure of the article follows the principles of raising questions, setting the theoretical analysis framework, analyzing specific strategic and policy events, reviewing theoretical exploration and practical analysis and finally drawing conclusions and prospects, which has been replanned and reorganized.Firstly, based on relevant international relations theories, fully review and interpret the development history and reality of Japan’s diplomatic strategy in Northeast Asia.Secondly, the issue of"Abe’s Diplomatic Heritage"and its important position and influence in Japan’s diplomatic strategic transformation was raised.Furthermore,a specific empirical analysis was conducted on the transformation reality of Japan’s diplomatic strategy in Northeast Asia under the governments of Yoshihide Suga and Fumio Kishida in the post Abe era.The constraints and influencing factors faced in Japan’s diplomatic strategy transformation in Northeast Asia process were comprehensively explained, and the future trend of Japan’s Northeast Asia diplomatic strategy transformation was comprehensively explained. The first chapter of the paper explores in depth the theoretical applicability of neoclassical realism international theory in analyzing the transformation of Japan’s diplomacy strategy by comparing it with other international relations theories. The second chapter of the paper reviews Abe’s diplomatic philosophy and the practical process of diplomatic strategic transformation. The viewpoint was put forward that Abe’s diplomatic legacy is the background and foundation for the transformation of Japan’s diplomacy strategy in Northeast Asia in the post Abe era.The third and fourth chapters of the paper, using two chapters, focus on the theme of the transformation of Japan’s diplomacy strategy in Northeast Asia in the post Abe era.The paper focuses on analyzing the inheritance and abandonment of Abe’s diplomatic heritage by the governments of Yoshihide Suga and Fumio Kishida in the transformation and policy implementation of Northeast Asia diplomatic strategy and proposes the view that"de Abelization"is once again facing directional decision-making difficulties in Japan’s diplomatic strategy transformation. The fifth chapter of the paper provides a comprehensive analysis and summary of the constraints and future directions and trends of the transformation of Japan’s diplomacy strategy from different theoretical and practical perspectives. In the conclusion section of the paper, the research results obtained from theoretical exploration and empirical analysis are summarized. As the immature research conclusion, the paper believes that in the post Abe era,Japan’s domestic and foreign affairs are facing many challenges and choices. The inheritance and abandonment of Abe’s diplomatic legacy is essentially the process of how Japan’s diplomacy faces changes in the international environment and various internal and external constraints to make strategic choices and transformations. The analysis and interpretation for the transformation of Japan’s diplomatic strategy in Northeast Asia and Abe’s diplomatic heritage are not only key elements, but also important entry points for testing Japan’s current diplomatic performance and future evolution trends. The paper aims to provide new ideas and clues for Japan’s diplomatic research through the analysis and research of Abe’s diplomatic heritage and the transformation of Northeast Asia’s diplomatic strategy.Although we have taken into account the changes in point and face, the timesand the international environment as much as possible in our research, due to limitations in length and level of knowledge, the paper has not been able to achieve the original goals perfectly in terms of topic setting, data collection, and analysis and argumentation, leaving many regrets that need further revision and improvement in the future.
