Marx’s research on science and technology thought started relatively late in China, and the discussion of Marx’s technology thought from a philosophical perspective lacks deep, systematic and theoretical research. As a scientific view of technology,Marx’s thought of technology criticism is more worthy of serious discussion. This article aims to enrich and perfect Marx’s philosophy of science and technology through a relatively detailed and systematic interpretation of Marx’s thought of technological criticism.Marx regarded material production activities as the profound foundation of the whole real world. From the perspective of material production activities, perceptual activities, labor and practice are the core concepts of Marx’s philosophy and political economics.Their core meanings are the same. They all have the meaning of transforming the world and their own material activities and technological practices. From the technical point of view, the article interprets perceptual activities and labor in a more realistic and concrete sense as a kind of objectified technical practice and material production activities in which people objectify their own technical capabilities.Marx’s discussion of technology and technology criticism will be discussed in four aspects.First, the philosophical premise of Marx’s technology thought is the real perceptual activity and the theoretical situation of the expression of perceptual object relationship, which is also the theoretical situation of ontology of ontology. This theoretical situation is the philosophical premise of understanding Marx’s technology thought. The second is the position and role of technology in Marx’s philosophy.Under the theoretical circumstances of perceptual activities,Marx’s philosophical understanding of technology permeates through the development of human, nature, society and history around perceptual activities.Thirdly,on the theoretical basis of perceptual activities,Marx discussed labor alienation, technology alienation, alienated capital, the way to sublate alienation and the realization of communism from the perspective of philosophy and political economics. Finally,Marx explained the relationship between technology alienation and capital. In his discussion,we can see the consistency of labor alienation, technology alienation and capital.Labor dissimilation, technology dissimilation and capital are different understandings of the same dissimilation process in the development of technology and productivity,so their solutions are also consistent.Marx’s criticism of technology is not a negation of technology, but an opposition to the capitalist application of technology.Under the pressure of capital, technology in capitalist society deviates from the original intention of providing convenience for people and becomes a technology that is oppressive for people. The innovation of the article lies in the analysis of Marx’s technological thought from a philosophical perspective, the interpretation of Marx’s understanding of human, nature, society and history from a technical perspective, and the attempt to restore Marx’s attitude towards the reality of alienation. The inadequacy of the article lies in the homogenization of concepts, but it can not explain the relationship between concepts clearly.Marx’s thought of technological criticism provides us with the direction and thinking to reflect on the role of scientific and technological forces in reality, and holds the direction for the development of science and technology. As Marx said, the sublation of alienation and alienation are the same path.Accelerate the pace of technological and social progress, continue to move forward and constantly revise on this path, and communism will eventually come true.
