Study On The Concept Of Shared Development Of Socialism With Chinese Characteristics In The New Era

In more than 40 years of Reform and Opening up,the incredible achievement in social development accomplished by China has put the world in awe.China has achieved the leapfrog from "standing up" to "becoming rich" and to "becoming strong".Especially after entering the new era,the fight against extreme poverty in China has realized great success,the goal of building a prosperous society in respects has also recorded defining achievements.China is now closer to achieving the dream of national rejuvenation than ever before.However,it is critical to see that the new era does not just mean the fruitful outcomes we have achieved in the first stage of the social and economic development,it means that our socialist cause will face new circumstances,issues and challenges.Of all these issues,one of the most prominent one is the unbalanced development in our society,which has become the bottleneck constraining the building and development of socialism in the new stage.It is under this situation that the Party and Country has put forward the "5 Development Concepts" since the Fifth Plenary Session of the Eighteenth Central Committee,in which the "shared development" was regarded as the starting point and destination of the new development concepts.At the Fifth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,it further proposed that the "New Development Concept" should be accurately implemented,so that more obvious and substantive progress in the common prosperity of the people can be made.By emphasizing on the "Shared Development" principle that the social development must adhere to in the new era,it has made a strong response and value orientation to the issue of unbalanced and insufficient development,and demonstrated the purpose and mission of the socialist system is to "develop for the people,depends on the people,and achievements shared by the people." Against such background,the thesis takes the concept of Shared Development as the theme,and conducts systematic research based on the theoretical foundation,connotation,practical situation and value meaning of Shared Development.so as to provide theoretical support and value guidance for addressing the main social contradictions and for realizing a better life for the people.In addition,it also provides Chinese wisdom to explore a fairer and more just and better social system for all mankind.The thesis takes the transformation of the main contradictions in our society in the new era as the realistic basis,the Shared Development Concept in Marxist Theory as the ideological resource and the reshaping of the contemporary Chinese social development view as the orientation.On the one hand,the thesis persists in leveraging reality to make theories alive and using theories to examine realities on the other hand.In the interaction between the two,the thesis clarifies and presents the connotation,practical path and value and meaning of Shared Development in the new.By focusing on the above themes,the thesis mainly follows two main lines of thinking: one is the "where does Shared Development come from",which is mainly to explore the theoretical basis and formation of the Shared Development in the new era;the second is the "where will Shared Development go",which is mainly to understand the specific goal of Shared Development in the new era,its reality and value and meaning.Following the above thought processes,the thesis mainly explores from the following three aspects:First,it reveals and explores the theoretical basis and formation process of the shared development of Socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,which is the prerequisite part of this thesis.As a great initiative to enhance the well-being of the people and promote the all-round development of people,Shared Development has very deep theoretical roots of Marxism.In the entire Marxist theoretical system,from the establishment of the philosophical theme of "humanism" in historical materialism,to the fierce criticism of the "personal enjoyment" of capitalism,to the building of a shared blueprint in scientific Socialism and the practice of building and developing of Socialism in the Soviet Union.In this way,the shared ideological foundation of the classic Marxist writers is fully presented.In the great Chinese traditional culture,the ideal pursuit of "The world belongs to mankind’s common heritage" and "People are the foundation of the nation" and the shared exploration of people with lofty ideals in modern times have provided ample nutrients to the shared development of Socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Under the influence of Marxist classic writers and related thoughts on shared development in China’s excellent traditional culture,the Communist Party of China has continuously expanded the theories and practice on Shared Development and gradually formed a complete framework of Shared Development thinking over time,in the process of Communist Party of China leading the country from "Standing up" to "Becoming rich" and then "Becoming strong".Secondly,the second part conducts an in-depth analysis in the theoretical content,practical situation and implementation path of the shared development,which is the main body of this thesis.Sharing by all,sharing in all sectors,co-creating and sharing,and sequential sharing constitute the logical framework of shared development from the four dimensions,namely the subject,content,motivation and process,which deeply demonstrates features such as the subjectivity of the people,fairness and justice,overall coordination and the theoretical features such as dynamic development.In the theoretical building,it has carried forward and further promoted the Marxist theory,responded to the needs of the times and the people,which has greatly enriched the socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics,and planned the direction of future social development in China,which has profound theoretical and practical value.Guided by the concept of the Shared Development,the Communist Party of China played the leading role in forging ahead with people and has realized a series of great achievements.The fight against poverty has firmly established the bottom line of people’s living standards shared by all,the five-sphere integrated pattern has continuously enriched the content of sharing in all sectors,and modernization of governance has contributed to the improvement of co-creating and sharing.The pattern of sharing,building a prosperous society in aspects have steadily advanced the progress of sequential sharing.But at the same time,there are still several difficulties in shared development.One is the imbalance of economic and social development,the second is the increasingly complex and diversified social interest relations,the third is the building and implementation of the sharing system is still ineffective,and the fourth is the deviation and absence of shared value recognition.Facing this realistic dilemma,the dissertation explores feasible paths from consolidating the material foundation,strengthening political guarantee,improving the foundation of the system and conserving the foundation of the concept,all these are aimed at providing a theoretical reference for solving the realistic dilemma of shared development.Finally,the third part explores the global contribution of the shared development of Socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,which is an extension of this thesis.As a necessary path to promote fairness and justice in human society,the concept of Shared Development not only has guiding significance for the country’s socialist building but demonstrate far-reaching historical significance in the world because of its ideological penetrating power and theoretical influence.Especially as the trend of globalization continues to deepen,countries in the world are increasingly becoming a community of shared destiny,and the disadvantages of the capitalist globalization system are becoming increasingly prominent,the concept of Shared Development provides important guiding significance for resolving problems such as insufficient global development momentum,global development imbalance,and lagging international governance because of its value pursuit of fairness and justice and the principle of common prosperity,thus reflecting its far-reaching world and historical significance.Specifically,the global governance concept of extensive consultation,joint contribution and shared benefits provides a new engine for global economic growth,a new model for global social governance,and a new model for balanced global development,which has exceeded and worked better than the old development concept in the Western capitalism that emphasizes on multi-party governance and zero-sum game.Under the guidance of the theory of Shared Development,our country has actively built the "Belt and Road Initiative" and "Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank" and other joint innovation platforms,which is committed to enhancing the voice of developing countries in global governance,and proactively building a " win-win growth chain" globally.All these initiatives provide a practical and feasible China plan in realizing the stable,fair and balanced development of the world economy.
