The Aesthetic Show Of Poetic Wisdom

In the 1930 s,as typical representatives of Modern "Neo-Boudoir" writers,the four modern female writers including Bing Xin(Bing Xin),Sophia.Chen(Hengzhe Chen),Su Hua(Shuhua Ling),Phyllis Lin(Huiyin Lin)were active on the stage of the times.They formed a special creative phenomenon.Their creative practice,as the model of modern educated women’s literary creation,displays the remnants of the classical elegant ladies,while differs from the spiritual disposition and aesthetic characteristics of other modern female writers,showing a kind of a style emphasizing independence,pursuing freedom,upholding openness,being good at reconciliation,advocating spirit and displaying poetic wisdom.By studying their literary creations as a whole,it is not difficult to find that most of them possess the values of modern civilization,the spirit of independent personality,the temperament of calmness,intellectuality and gentility owned by classical elegant ladies,and the modern ideas and mild mental state,which manifested in the creation are mostly in a relatively independent creative posture,manifesting the aesthetic features of poetic wisdom with modernity and strong reconcilability.They have no common declaration,no common program and community organization in the process of creative practice.Embracing the modern thinkinig,they display their living situation and mental outlook in the world steeped in the enlightening modern civilization and therefore empowering women to liberate their mind.The history of modern women’s literature has witnessed that women have formed a unique creative phenomenon and form.With the proposal of the concepts of “human liberation” and “literature of human” during the May Fourth Movement of 1919,the creative practice of literature began to pay attention to the spiritual condition of people who existed as subjects.As the result of the awakening of personality and the realization of their own ideals in life,their literary creations focus on showing the mental process and spiritual temperament of modern women at the time of the transformation of the old world and the new society,forming a unique aesthetic style.We will make aesthetic analysis on their creation features combined with poetic theories and the theory of women’s literature,including gender theories.In particular,the poetic wisdom and spiritual characteristics of their creation should be noted in the process of modernity transformation.Specifically,this paper will systematically analyze their creative concepts,spiritual order,modal creation,aesthetic characters,and spiritual pursuits.Their creative ideas,we think,are in the process of seeking their own cultural identities,focusing on the establishment of modern men’s,especially the modern intellectual women’s self-transcendence and subjectivity.The ideas are filled with the spirit of freedom,flexibility and gentle temperament,but also regard "meaning" as the kernel,trying to seek their roles of the time for modern people,especially for modern women.Most of the degree and order in the construction of their spirits are with the method of harmonic,seeking the balance of producing impact tension between tradition and modern.And through the formation of the penetration of the west into the cultural psychology and the use of specific creative methods,such as both the emotional and lyrical way,and the double image shaping,they deal with their own roles and the contradiction of time transformation,grasp and solve the problems of identity,role transformation and differences brought about by the conflict between Chinese and western cultures,in order to explore the possibility of culture.On this basis,create their creation modes,which are mostly good at constructing new life forms and personality types from the staggered dimension of time and space.Among them,the created modes include the deformation of "back cyclic condensation" in temporal consciousness and the configuration of "flow juxtaposition" in spatial consciousness.In this special space-time structure,they acquire a brand-new meaning of life with a more open space-time attitude.As such,they exhibit such aesthetic qualities that express their unique beauty of soul and form a smart and ethereal aesthetic character by virtue of the existential philosophy of sympathetic resonance on the spiritual level,the pure and uniform smart structure on the formal level,and the exquisite and elegant poetic language on the language level.Accordingly,their poetic spiritual pursuit is presented: using the poetic and philosophical expression rooted in the current life to build a new life aesthetics.In bridging the leak between the aesthetic ideal and the secular life,the life consciousness of symbiosis and coexistence is inspired,and the poetic living condition of the habitation is painted.The clarity of freedom and beauty is then distilled,which presented the modern spirit of pursuing the kingdom of freedom instead of the kingdom of inevitability,in order to realize the “human literature”theme formed since the May Fourth Movement.So far,through seven chapters,the thesis forming a structural system for the overall demonstration and interpretation of this creation theory.In short,through the unique virtue of the poetic wisdom,they devote themselves to the exploration of the survival and development of modern women and modern intellectual women,with the theme of "human liberation" in their creative practice.The value of self-existence has been fully affirmed,and the principal identity,dignity,rights and status of modern women have been highlighted,which is the wisdom and thinking expressed in their creation.Whether the attitude of seeking to going ahead with the times in real life,or the choices displayed in the creative practice,all reflect the spirits in modern times.As a result,they try new paths for the modern women,especially for the modern intellectual women’s survival and development,and at the same time,provide a possible model to establish the value of China’s modern culture.
