“Image” is a concept category with rich connotations.It contains philosophical thoughts,aesthetic concepts,cultural characteristics and other connotations.It spans philosophy,literature,aesthetics,astronomy and other disciplines.It is a very important concept in the Chinese traditional culture and has a profound impact on the development of all aspects of ancient Chinese society.Professor Wang Shuren,a researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences(CASS),use the concept of “Image-Thinking” for the first time,as well as “XiangThinking”.The importance of “image” and “Xiang-Thinking” has attracted more and more attention in the development of Chinese culture.The Book of Changes is known as “the head of all the classics and the source of the Tao”.The“Xiang-Thinking” is an absolutely important part of Yi-ology and the origin of the Yi-theory,which runs through the entire history of the philosophy of the Book of Changes.The “Xiang-Thinking”affects the theory and application of the Book of Changes for thousands of years.In turn,the application of the image in the Book of Changes also represents and achieves the unique “XiangThinking” of Chinese culture.At present,the academic study of the “Xiang-Thinking” in Yi-ology is still in its infancy.Similarly,“image” is not regarded as a separate research object,so there is much research space for“Xiang-Thinking” in the study of Yi-ology.This paper is divided into five chapters,and the research context is as follows: Chapter 1,introduced from primitive worship,explain the “Xiang-Thinking” in oracle bone inscriptions and the significance of the development and evolution of the Chinese characters “image”,and then analyze the emergence and development of “Xiang-Thinking” from literature,philosophy,society and other aspects.Gradually analyze the unique thinking mode of Chinese people as “XiangThinking”.Chapter 2,in the history of the philosophy of the Book of Changes,this paper combs out the role of “Xiang-Thinking”,analyzes the inheritance of “Xiang-Thinking” from the perspective of Confucian classics and numerology,and briefly introduces the controversy between the school of image and numerology and the school of philosophy of Yi-ology.Chapter 3,Analyze the “image”in the text of the Book of Changes.Interpret the meaning of the word “image” in the oracle bone inscriptions,then analyze its exegesis according to the philologists and historians of the past dynasties.Finally combine the Book of Changes,summarize the 40 “image” characters that appear in it into five categories.Chapter 4,interpret the “Xiang-Thinking” that runs through the sixty-four hexagrams,connect the images displayed in each hexagram,or for divination,and analyze its referential significance.Chapter 5,in the broad sense of Yi-ology culture,analyze the images of the Ten Heavenly Stems and Twelve Earthly Branches,and understand the pictographs of the twentytwo characters from the perspective of oracle bone inscriptions.Explain the “Xiang-Thinking” in the Ten Heavenly Stems and the Twelve Earthly Branches,and analyze and introduce the “XiangThinking” contained in them from the studying phenomena of the Stems and Branches,the five elements of Nayin Sound,and the creating and overcoming of the Five Elements.The innovative work done in this article lies in: 1.Explore “Xiang-Thinking” in combination with the Book of Changes;2.Sort out the influence of “Xiang-Thinking” on the development of Yiology from the philosophical history of the Book of Changes;3.Summarize the word “Xiang” in the text of the Book of Changes;4.Interpret the “image” of Sixty-four Diagrams in the Book of Changes;5.Summary of the significance of Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches;6.From the perspective of folk customs,introduce the “Xiang-Thinking” in Ten Heavenly Stems,Twelve Earthly Branches,and Sixty Years. |
