The Study On Jiang Xiangnan’s Literary Thoughts And His Poems And Articles

Jiang Xiangnan(1796-1854),was a famous Hui scholar during the Jiadao era of the Qing Dynasty.Although he did not serve as an official in his life,he did not yield to the trend of the times.He advocated that literary creation should be practical.He was famous in the literary world of the Qing Dynasty for his strong critical literary views and pragmatic spirit Jiang Xiangnan has profound attainments in Confucian classics,history,literature and other aspects,especially in poetry and prose creation.Therefore,his academic achievements should have the space to be explained again.From this perspective,based on Jiang Xiangnan’s poetry and prose works,this thesis studies Jiang Xiangnan’s life experience,literary creation,literary thought,and comparison with contemporary literary schools.In this way,we will make an all-round discussion on Jiang Xiangnan’s literary thought and practice.This thesis also pays special attention to his literary works from the perspective of academic history,and strives to clarify his position in the literary history of the Qing Dynasty.Introduction:In this part,it mainly expounds the reason and significance of this topic,research content and methods.And also combs the current situation of Jiang Xiangnan’s research from the 1980s to now in detail,pointing out and analyzing the excitement and weakness of Jiang Xiangnan’s research.According to the above contents,the follow-up literature research on Jiang Xiangnan will be carried out.The first chapter:Jiang Xiangnan’s life study.This chapter focuses on Jiang Xiangnan’s life track on the basis of investigating Jiang Xiangnan’s ethnic group,birth and death years and his friendship with other famous scholars.At the same time,this chapter also introduces his experience of studying,literary creation and compiling local chronicles,as well as his association with Wei Yuan,Gong Zizhen,Huang Juezi,Lin Zexu and other progressive people in the Qing Dynasty.n order to completely outline Jiang Xiangnan’s main life experience.All the above research contents have laid a solid foundation for the next step of literary research on Jiang Xiangnan.The second chapter:Research on Jiang Xiangnan’s Literary Thought and Its Formation Reasons.Jiang Xiangnan not only paid attention to learning from the past,but also emphasized its social function.This is literati in the late Qing Dynasty,the inspiration of the times and Jiang Xiangnan’s own literary practice experience constitute Jiang Xiangnan’s heavy,rich,advancing with the times,and diverse literary ideas and propositions.His travels in the northwest of the motherland made his literary style more majestic and vast.And his long-term in-depth social life made his academic thoughts pursuing "Jing Shi Zhi Yong" thoughts.Through the study of the thought of "Jing Shi Zhi Yong" in the creation of Jiang Xiangnan’s poetry and prose and traditional Confucianism,it can be concluded that Jiang Xiangnan’s poetry and prose creation is inextricably linked with Confucianism and the trend of thought.The thought of "Jing Shi Zhi Yong" is the main motivation for Jiang Xiangnan’s poetry creation,and Confucian classics are the foundation of Jiang Xiangnan’s literary creation.The connection between them is multifaceted,not only the factors of social,historical and cultural background,but also the reasons for their academic study.It is the fusion of various factors that makes Jiang Xiangnan’s lifelong literary creation is to serve the country with articles.It can be seen from Jiang Xiangnan’s poetry and prose that his purpose is to try to find the grand ambition of economic and world economy that has not been completed in reality,and then rediscover it from literary creation.Therefore,this article focuses on combining the thinking trend of "Jing Shi Zhi Yong" and Confucianism’s "Ru Shi" idea with Jiang Xiangnan’s literary creation characteristics of "Tong Jing Zhi Yong,Chi Shi Jiu Pian",so as to examine and interpret Jiang Xiangnan’s literary thoughts and the path of its literary creation from more dimensions.I hope that the efforts of this thesis can enrich the research content of outstanding scholars like Jiang Xiangnan,and recognize the value and position of Jiang Xiangnan literature in the history of minority literature and Chinese literature.At the same time,it can be beneficial to supplement and enrich the research on ancient minority literature.
