| This thesis analyzes composer He Xuntian’s Rupa Dance(2009)for piano and orchestra and Sunyata Dance(2011)for clarinet and orchestra, both with the diverse forms of “no center or priority with each part to be the center and priority of other” and the characteristics of Stream of Structure music of high dimensional sound field. In addition, macro and micro examination of the multidimensional flow dynamics and interactive structural forces of the two Stream of Structure musical works are made from the Stream of Structure perspective, based on the concept and theory of Stream of Structure Composition(SS COMPOSITION)established by the composer, and by means of theoretical statements and musical texts.SS COMPOSITION originated in the composer’s natural view and musical philosophy. As a new method of composition,it is used to create a brand new Stream of Structure music.Given that Stream of Structure music demonstrates an infinite possibility of musical Stream of Structure with continuous flow posture,non-repeatability,arbitrary separability and arbitrary variability, the crossfields and multidisciplinary study of the new aesthetic view of music presented in these two works is also carried out in this thesis.Hopefully, the study on the subject may provide a possible perspective and reference for the current research on Stream of Structure music. |
