Reason has always been there,but it has not always been in the form of reason.As a unique and precious gift of humanity,Since the birth of man,reason has been involved in the ceaseless attempt to understand and change the unknown world.Especially since the enlightenment of reason,human no longer crawled under the feet of God,but became "capitalized man";Man is no longer subject to the will of God,but can legislate nature according to his own will;Instead of relying on divine revelation,man can use his reason as a subject.The practice of enlightenment has fully released the great potential of human beings and made the human society create unprecedented miracles.However,at the same time,the nature has suffered unprecedented damage and destruction,and the ecological crisis has also seriously threatened the survival of human beings.The self-image established by people in the enlightenment is not based on the stable harmony with nature,but the result obtained at the cost of suppressing nature and ruling nature.In the view of enlightenment,there has always been an internal opposition between reason and nature.Although the enlightenment saves people from the state of ignorance,it puts people into the new ignorance of the conquest of nature.In this sense,the enlightenment did not teach us to use reason reasonably and mature,and there is no reasonable confirmation of human rational behavior towards nature,which shows that human reason is still in the fault and error,ecological crisis is the inevitable result of human reason fault and error.In order to get out of the ecological dilemma that humans face,that is,to get rid of the immaturity that humans impose on themselves,we may need a new enlightenment today,so as to achieve the reconciliation between reason and nature.In view of the ecological crisis caused by the enlightenment in the process of publicizing the reason,shaping and publicizing the ecological reason constitutes the enlightenment after the enlightenment--the theme of ecological enlightenment.From the point of view of the development of the concept of ecological rationality itself,it has been paid attention to in the research field of ecological Marxism since the 1970 s,showing the budding state of the theory.In the 1990 s,ecological rationality also attracted attention in the field of economics and decision theory,and was established as a concrete concept.In recent years,especially since the18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),with the increasing significance and importance of ecological civilization construction,ecological rationality has been pulled back into the research field of people and received close attention from the perspective of philosophical research.The worldwide COVID-19 outbreak in 2020 further deepens our rational reflection on the relationship between man and nature.It is out of the consideration of the above theoretical problems and the reflection of the response to the current practical problems that this paper establishes the study of ecological rationality,which has important theoretical and practical significance.This paper intends to start from the core concept of western philosophy "reason",from the perspective of reason,in-depth analysis of the root causes of the ecological crisis,and on this basis,confirm the background and mechanism of ecological reason,and then clear the connotation and characteristics of ecological reason,and finally explain the function and value of ecological reason.By analyzing the occurrence logic,essential connotation and value significance of ecological rationality,this paper provides a supplement for the current theoretical and practical research of ecological rationality.On the whole,the logical structure and layout of the paper revolves around the three core problems to be solved: the background and mechanism of ecological rationality,the construction and essence of ecological rationality,and the function and value significance of ecological rationality.This paper first analyzes the general connotation of ecological rationality and confirms the background and logic of ecological rationality.Then explore the theoretical path of the construction and generation of ecological rationality,and clarify the essence of ecological rationality;Finally,the function and value significance of ecological rationality are explained,and the enlightenment significance of ecological rationality to the construction of ecological civilization is expounded.The introduction part of the article introduces the reason of this topic and the research status at home and abroad,and points out the problems to be solved and the innovation points.The first chapter,the presentation and analysis of the connotation of ecological rationality.In this chapter,the core concepts of "rationality" and "ecological rationality" are systematically sorted out and analyzed,so as to lay the theoretical groundwork for further research.Firstly,the paper clarifies the evolution of rational connotation from the perspective of western philosophy history.Secondly,this paper presents the general connotation of ecological rationality from three scenarios:economics and rational decision-making theory,philosophical critical perspective and ecological Marxism.Finally,the basic characteristics of ecological rationality are summarized.The second chapter,the background and logic of ecological rationality.Based on the understanding of the basic connotation of ecological rationality,this chapter re-examines the internal root of ecological crisis from the perspective of modern rationality,and puts forward possible solutions and thoughts on how to solve and get out of the ecological dilemma--namely,reshaping and constructing the new spirit of ecological rationality,so as to clarify the inevitability and rationality of the proposed ecological rationality.First of all,this paper discusses the modern manifestation of ecological crisis,summarizes and sorts out the research situation of domestic and foreign scholars on the root of ecological crisis,and then demonstrates from the research perspective of this paper that the ecological crisis reflects the errors and errors of modern rationality,and the ecological crisis reflects the crisis of rationality.Secondly,it discusses why the rational crisis leads to the ecological crisis,and excavates the essential reason of the ecological crisis.Finally,based on the root that modern rationality leads to ecological crisis,the paper puts forward the path of constructing ecological rationality so as to get out of the ecological dilemma,and confirms the background and mechanism of ecological rationality.The third chapter,the construction path and essence of ecological rationality.This chapter tries to reveal the concrete construction process of ecological reason based on the threefold scenes proposed by ecological reason,clarify the relationship between ecological reason and modern reason,and further inquire the essential connotation of ecological reason.First of all,this paper analyzes the concepts of "infinite rationality","bounded rationality" and "ecological rationality" in economics and rational decision theory at the philosophical level,and discusses the construction process of "ecological rationality" from the way of asking the rational limit.Secondly,based on the critical theory of technological(tool)rationality of Frankfurt School,the ideological path from the critical theory of technological rationality to the construction of ecological rationality is discussed.Thirdly,based on the theoretical perspective of ecological Marxism,the paper discusses the rational choice of constructing an advanced social development path dominated by ecological rationality.Finally,on the basis of the above research,it tries to establish the principle of grasping the essence of ecological rationality from the philosophical level,and reveals the essence of ecological rationality in depth.Chapter four,the spiritual core of ecological rationality: the value meaning of solving the ecological dilemma.On the basis of grasping and understanding the connotation of ecological rationality,this chapter deeply excavates and presents the spiritual core and inner characteristics of ecological rationality.It is very important to explore the spiritual core of ecological rationality,which highlights the function and value significance of ecological rationality for solving ecological dilemma.The article holds that ecological rationality brings about a change in world outlook,way of thinking and values.First of all,the world picture from the perspective of ecological rationality emphasizes the organic whole and interconnection between things,which is a world view in the sense of integral organism,and it changes the fundamental concept of human’s view of nature on the whole.Secondly,Zhang uses a systematic,nonlinear and complex way of thinking to understand nature,which leads human to look at the world and understand nature from a new perspective and thinking,and makes human’s cognition of nature and the understanding of the relationship between human and nature more in-depth and specific.Finally,ecological rationality will change human values from three dimensions,so as to reasonably confirm the relationship between man and nature,man and society,man and self.The fifth chapter,the contemporary orientation of ecological rationality: the theoretical construction and practical innovation of ecological rationality with Chinese characteristics.In this chapter,the concept of ecological rationality in the western context is combined with the realistic context of China’s current ecological civilization construction,so as to put forward the construction of ecological rationality with Chinese characteristics,and further explain the practical significance of ecological rationality with Chinese characteristics.The paper holds that the proposal of ecological rationality on the one hand shows its unique spiritual core,which pays attention to the normative function of human’s spiritual world,and on the other hand pays attention to the pursuit and consideration of the rationality of human’s practical activities.Under the current circumstances of the construction of ecological civilization in China,how to combine the concept of ecological rationality,which was first put forward by the West,with the realistic context of China,so as to construct a spirit of ecological rationality with Chinese characteristics is an important topic for us to study the practice of ecological rationality.Firstly,the paper studies the interactive logic of ecological rationality and ecological civilization,and clarifies the practical standpoint of the generation of ecological rationality with Chinese characteristics.Secondly,starting with the revelation of the ecological wisdom in Chinese traditional culture,the ideological resources of the western ecological culture trend of thought and the Marxist ecological thought,the paper points out the theoretical origin of the construction of ecological rationality with Chinese characteristics.Finally,the paper analyzes the specific path to implement the ecological rationality concept with Chinese characteristics into the practice of ecological civilization construction and strengthen its enlightenment significance.In general,the proposal of ecological rationality not only includes a kind of transcendence and continuation based on the critical reflection of traditional rationality,but also constantly incorporates new theoretical concepts and practical spirit in the dynamic,inclusive and open development,so as to include the consideration of the current and future direction of human rational spirit.It is a breakthrough in the world outlook,way of thinking and values of human beings.It is the rational appeal of human beings born under the circumstances of The Times.It shows a deep concern for the overall situation and long-term survival interests of human beings.The ecological reason is not to completely deny the traditional reason,but to make us fully reflect on the current problems in the relationship between nature,society,others and self,and make criticism and transcendence.
