| Since China’s higher education reform and development to promote the modernization of education and achieve the medium-term and long-term planning of education power in the "13th Five-Year plan",The educational concept,service concept and management mode of colleges and universities have been comprehensively deepened,and colleges and universities are also in continuous construction and development.University library,as a representative campus building with a large amount of construction in this upsurge,is an important for talent nurturing and research services.Facing the rapid development of education concept and information technology,and the gradually improved construction of digital information,the using and experience needs of libraries are also changing correspondingly,at the same time.So the applicability of space and the comfort of the environment are concerned.Existing research mostly focus on the design guidance of architectural space and the experience sharing of practical cases,therefore the research on relevant theoretical basis and technical means is relatively weak,and the systematic evaluation research on factors and events related to the operational performance of built environment is not paid enough attention.Therefore,research on improving the relevant building design standards,the using experience and running performance of built environment is necessary.Taking university libraries in South China as the research object,this paper carrys out multi-level and multi-dimensional cross-comprehensive research,combined with the research paradigm of combining qualitative and quantitative methods,subjective and objective evaluation,and multiple techniques such as references,field research,statistical analysis,deduction and induction,integrated with the research methods and achievements of architecture,architectural physics,statistics,social psychology,environmental behavior,environmental quality evaluation and other subjects.As a branch of architectural design theory research of university libraries,this paper makes a reliability and scientific analysis of Comfort Evaluation of Built Environment(CEBE)by clarifying environmental subjective and objective factors,and carries out a horizontal sample comparison and longitudinal comparison analysis in order of time from multiple perspectives.Thus,the research logic and thinking frame of CEBE for university library are constructed.According to the psychological and physiological needs and behavioral preferences of evaluation subjects,the Post-Occupationcy Evaluation was conducted to verify and feedback the gap between design expectation and actual performance,and the corresponding architectural spatial pattern language and optimization design strategy are proposed.In this paper,the research of CEBE and design of university libraries are mainly divided into the following four parts:The first part sets up the framework of research logic.By systematically sorting out the background,status and theoretical basis,the significance,objectives and methods are determined.Through exploratory basic research,the basic information,scope selection and space type of the research subject and object and the thoughts,purport and methods of CEBE are clarified.The second part provides a generalized evaluation.With the structure questionnaire designed by semantic difference method,the evaluation objects of different evaluation subjects and different spatial types were taken as control variables to CEBE for university library,and the comprehensive evaluation hierarchy structure and the corresponding evaluation index model of CEBE for university library are established basing on Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP).The third part provides a focused evaluation focusing on the ways and preference evaluation of reading space and the subjective and objective CEBE by clarifying the space requirements,using approaches and behavior tendency of users,and daylighting and thermal research of CEBE,to obtain the adaptable evaluation conclusion about some key issues on architectural design of university library.The final part develops the conclusions and applications of the research results.The architectural space design pattern language is extracted from the combination of the design expectation and the actual feedback which is nested,supplemented and connected with each other from large to small.According to the research structure of architectural space from macro to micro,the corresponding optimization design strategy is integrated to guide the practical design application.CEBE for university library is comprehensively explorated by multi-dimensional,multiperspective,multi-methodological research.The design expectation,the use experience of the evaluation subject and the objective environmental performance of the evaluation object are logically sorted out.With the subjective feeling of evaluation subjects and the objective measurement of physical environment,there is a supplement and extension of higher education architectural design theories and the evaluation research of built environment.The conclusions will have definitly values of reference and guidance. |
