In the evaluation of room acoustic criteria of performance buildings, people have long recognized the importance of surface scattering on sound quality, but the influence of factors such as space shape, space volume and spatial sound absorption on the relationship between interface scattering and sound quality parameters is lack of systematic analysis. This paper studies the relationship between the surface scattering in the performance space and the sound quality parameters of the auditorium based on the aforementioned three factors. The main research of this paper includes the following four contents:(1)Discuss the impact of surface scattering on the sound quality parameters in the ancient theater by means of computer simulation method.(2)Analyze the influence of surface scattering on sound quality parameters in modern theaters of different shapes by using computer simulation.(3)Study the influence effect of space shape, space sound absorption and space volume on the relationship between surface scattering and sound quality parameters.Taking the rectangular space, the reverberation room space and the eight simplified spaces formed by tilting different interfaces based on the rectangular space as samples, the effects of surface scattering on sound quality parameters in different space types are analyzed. Two representative spaces are selected for volume amplification of 10 times in sequence to analyze the influence of interfacial scattering on acoustic quality parameters in different volume spaces. And another two representative spaces are selected to calculate the effect of surface scattering on sound quality parameters under different sound absorption and scattering distributions.(4)In order to evaluate the affecting factor of surface scattering on the plane distribution of sound quality parameters in different space types in detail, the typical theater space and rectangular space of the same volume are selected as the research samples, and the plane distribution of sound quality parameters is studied by computer simulation.Through the above research, this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)In the ancient theater building, the change of side wall scattering has a significant effect on the sound quality parameters, while the change of ceiling scattering has no obvious effect.(2)In modern theaters, the change of side wall scattering on sound quality parameters is obvious, while the change of ceiling scattering has no obvious effect.(3)Different space shapes will affect the relationship between surface scattering and sound quality parameters, and present a group relationship. The spatial volume has no effect on the relationship between interface scattering and sound quality parameters. The distribution of sound absorption and scattering has a significant effect on the relationship between surface scattering and sound quality parameters.(4)In the changing process of interface scattering, the regularity of the plane distribution of sound quality parameters in a simple rectangular space is obviously stronger than that in a theater space with a complex shape. The research results of this paper provide a theoretical basis and a design strategy for observing the diffuse design of the indoor sound field of the building.
