| At present,China’s economy has shifted into the new normal of high-quality development.Under the great influence of COVID-19’s epidemic situation and the trend of anti-globalization,the manufacturing industry,as a pillar industry of China’s economy,is also facing the dual challenges of "returning" to developed countries and "transferring" to developing countries.Realizing the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry with the help of the fourth industrial revolution with the new generation of information technology such as Internet of things,artificial intelligence,big data and cloud computing as the core is the key force to promote the high-quality development of China’s economy.The action program "made in China 2025" in the first decade of China’s manufacturing power strategy points out that the intelligentization of the manufacturing industry can upgrade and transform traditional industries,promote the transformation of production-oriented manufacturing to service-oriented manufacturing,improve the efficiency of resource utilization,and optimize the industrial structure.We will promote the manufacturing industry to the development path of innovation-driven,qualityenhancing and eco-green.Although studies have shown that intelligentization can reduce the production cost of manufacturing enterprises and realize business model innovation,manufacturing enterprises have changed the previous mode of production of large quantities and homogenization,and will produce more and more small batches and customized products to provide consumers with personalized products and beautiful experiential services to gain competitiveness and market share.However,the paradox of "IT productivity" also shows that intelligentization does not necessarily lead to ideal performance improvement,and it is still in the early stages of the intelligent revolution,the new generation of information technology has not yet formed universal and efficient productivity,even the developed countries such as the United States,Germany and Japan are still in the initial stage of intelligentization.As a post-developing country and even some traditional manufacturing enterprises,China is still in the stage of mechanization,electrification and informatization.Intelligentization is a high-risk behavior that requires long-term continuous investment but uncertain returns,so most manufacturing enterprises hold a cautious wait-and-see attitude towards the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial change.Manufacturing enterprises are facing the dilemma of "dare not turn,cannot turn" or even "cannot turn",which further restricts the pace of China’s manufacturing industry climbing to the high end of the value chain and hinders the process of building a manufacturing power.Based on the above background,the thesis studies the mechanism of the influence of intelligentization on the efficiency of manufacturing enterprises,in order to explore the dynamic mechanism of intelligent upgrading of manufacturing enterprises,examine the positive and negative effects of intelligence on the efficiency of manufacturing enterprises,analyze the action path of intelligentization on the efficiency of manufacturing enterprises,and clarify the "black box" between the development of intelligentization and the efficiency of manufacturing enterprises.It has certain application value for manufacturing enterprises to carry out intelligent transformation and upgrading,to clarify the development path,to promote enterprises to carry out in-depth changes,to improve quality and efficiency,and to increase enterprise value.In addition,intelligentization based on the new generation of information technology is the extension and expansion of innovation theory,which can enrich the theoretical basis and connotation of technological innovation of manufacturing enterprises,and is also a useful supplement to the theory of economic growth.The main contents and conclusions of the thesis are as follows:1.The thesis puts forward the research framework of the mechanism that the level of intelligentization affects the efficiency of manufacturing enterprises on the basis of factor theory,value theory and organization theory.It is pointed out that the intelligentization of manufacturing enterprises is a multi-agent complex dynamic evolution process,which is the result of a variety of driving forces inside and outside the enterprise,such as government thrust,technology drive,enterprise pressure and market pulling force.At the same time,intelligentization can improve the total factor productivity and management efficiency of enterprises by means of technological innovation,optimal allocation,value co-creation and process reengineering to improve productivity,optimize labor structure,reduce costs and improve product quality and service.2.The intelligentization index of manufacturing enterprises listed in A-share manufacturing industry from 2010 to 2021 is evaluated and calculated by using the method of data mining and principal component analysis.The results show that the overall intelligence index of China’s manufacturing industry shows a trend of steady improvement,but the imbalance of development among different provinces,regions and industries is significant.Specifically,the eastern region has the highest level of intelligent development,followed by the central and northeast regions,and the western region has the lowest level of intelligent development;the intelligentization of high-tech industries is obviously higher than that of traditional industries,especially the computer,communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing industries have the highest level of intelligent development.3.Empirical test the influence mechanism of intelligence level on the efficiency of manufacturing enterprises in the thesis.First,the total factor productivity measured by the DEA-Malmquist index method is used as the proxy variable of the technology input and output efficiency of manufacturing enterprises,and then the ordinary panel measurement method is used to verify that intelligentization has a direct positive promoting effect on the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises.At the same time,intelligentization can improve the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises through indirect paths such as technological innovation,average employee salary,salary gap and cost stickiness.And its influence has heterogeneity in the aspects of factor intensity,nature of ownership and market share.Second,the threshold regression model is used to verify the nonlinear effect of intelligentization on total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises.The conclusion shows that the effect of intelligence on total factor productivity is nonlinear,that is,the higher the level of intelligentization is,the more advantageous it is,its promotion effect has marginal decreasing effect,and the nonlinear effects of different regions,different industries and different factor intensity and ownership properties are different.Third,based on the existing relative maturity scale,the questionnaire is redesigned to verify the mechanism that intelligentization affects the efficiency of organizational process management.The results show that intelligentization can directly improve the efficiency of organizational process management,and improve the efficiency of enterprise management through indirect paths such as labor structure,capital use efficiency and product quality.4.The countermeasures and suggestions to accelerate the intelligentization of manufacturing enterprises are puts forward in the thesis.The conclusion shows that the intelligentization can positively improve the efficiency of manufacturing enterprises.However,the effects of intelligentization are quite different due to the differences in the region,industry,ownership,market share,factor intensity and other types of enterprises.Therefore,when unswervingly implementing the basic strategy of intelligentization,we should strengthen the research and judgment on the policy of enterprises according to different situations,and put forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the intelligent upgrading of manufacturing enterprises from the four dimensions of government,industry,enterprise and market on the basis of meta-governance theory. |
