In the increasingly fierce market competition,product warranty helps to improve the differentiated competitive advantage of enterprises and consumer satisfaction.Warranty management activities run through the product life cycle.However,in practice,the warranty policy management of enterprises ignores the relevant factors in the management process of product conceptual design,design & development,production,marketing,and post-sales.And this can lead to the failure of enterprises to plan the warranty policy management activities reasonably.And the designed warranty policy cannot achieve the expected warranty effect.Aiming at these problems,this dissertation studies the design,analysis,and evaluation of the two-dimensional warranty policy oriented to the product life cycle.The main research contents include the following four parts.First,the optimal joint scheme of product reliability and two-dimensional warranty policy driven by consumer requirements is studied.The warranty policy at the conceptual design stage is related to product reliability and influenced by the consumers' heterogeneous requirements.This dissertation realizes the mapping between the joint scheme and consumer satisfaction through the Kano model and quality function deployment.On this basis,a joint optimization model aiming at maximizing consumer satisfaction is constructed.The results of the case show that this method can better meet consumers' heterogeneous requirements and provide guidance for manufacturers to formulate warranty policies in the conceptual design stage.Second,the joint optimization of the two-dimensional warranty policy and sales strategy considering reliability improvement is studied.The warranty policy at the launch phase is related to reliability improvement strategy and sales strategy.Based on the failure function model before and after reliability improvement,the profit maximization optimization model considering the above factors is constructed to jointly formulate reliability improvement strategy,sales strategy,and warranty policy.The results obtained can effectively improve product reliability,and ensure that enterprises formulate reasonable warranty policy and sales strategy.Third,the optimal decision on the investigation of product warranty claims variance under two-dimensional warranty policy is studied.In the post-sale stage,it is necessary to control the implementation process of the warranty policy,in which the analysis of warranty claim variance is the key to process control.Based on the Bayesian theory to modify the product failure rate function,the investigation decision-making model of claims variation aiming at minimizing the expected cost is established.And the investigation decision rules at all stages are determined.The case results show that the model can reduce the cost of the manufacturer while guaranteeing the identification of product claims variance.Fourth,the post-evaluation of a two-dimensional warranty policy based on counterfactual reasoning is studied.This dissertation constructs the counterfactual situation of the alternative warranty policy combination scheme.Two indexes,self-satisfaction and relative satisfaction,are established based on the warranty effect reflecting manufacturer satisfaction and consumer satisfaction.And the comparative post-evaluation of the effect of the implemented warranty policy is realized.It provides a new way of thinking and expands the current research methods of evaluation of warranty policy.This dissertation extends the theory of warranty policy management in content and method.And the research results can provide practical guidance for enterprises implementing two-dimensional warranty policy management oriented to the product life cycle.
