Urbanization is the only way for a developing country to transform into a developed country and realize economic modernization. For China, urbanization must rely on the transfer of rural labor, which can increase the number of permanent urban residents. In order to stimulate more consumption and achieve endogenous economic growth through urbanization, the country must rely on the livelihood transformation and citizenization of rural-urban migrants.China are increasingly aware of the limitations of permanent population growth, and attaching more importance to citizenitation of rural-urban migrants.Since 2000,China's policy orientation on the flow of migrant workers has shifted from restricting to guiding. The central government has issued a series of documents to guide urbanization, including several documents such as “Promoting the Healthy Development Of Small Towns” and “Opinions on Solving The Problem of Migrant Workers”.After 2010,in order to promote urbanization,China stressed the importance of urbanization in the “No.1 Central Government Document " repeatedly, then introduced “The National New Urbanization Planning(2014-2020)","The Opinions of the Further Do a Good Job Services for Rural Migrant Workers" to differential and orderly advance urbanization and promote the people-oriented urbanization. The " No.1 Central Government Document " of 2019 once again emphasizes the need to accelerate the citizenization of the rural-urban migrant and promote the development of urbanization in terms of broadening the channels for increasing rural incomes. This is an important task for China to promote the rural labor force transfer and urbanization in a new era.In 2019,the state council issued the plan to promote the settlement of 100 million non-registered people in cities and the key task of building a new type of urbanization in 2019,again emphasizing the promotion of citizenization of the migrant agricultural population. It can be seen that studying citizenization of the agricultural migrant population is a very important topic in the process of urbanization promotion in China.Rural-urban migrants account for more than 80% of the agricultural migrant population, and the effect of citizenization of rural migrant workers determines the effect of citizenization of China's agricultural migrant population. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the citizenization level of rural-urban migrants in cities and explore the factors influencing the citizenization level of them. The purpose of this paper is as follows.First,to compare and analyze the changes in employment, wages and basic public services of rural-urban migrants in cities and the existing problems.Second, based on the connotation of generalized citizenization, using large sample data of rural-urban migrants, estimate the economy, public service, and social integration and psychology into the generalized citizenization level, such as dimension data are combined with the city the level of urbanization of rural-urban migeants overall and regional analysis, understand the differences of different regional generalized citizenization of rural-urban migrants.Third, according to the population migration theory, farmer behavior theory and the theory of social integration of rural-urban migrants, empirical analysis generalized citizenization from macroscopic and the microscopic, understand restricting and promoting factors of generalized citizenization of migrant workers in different dimensions, for the next stage to promote and optimize the people-oriented new urbanization provides policy suggestions.Fourthly, based on the theory of social stratification, this paper discusses the generalized citizenization of rural-urban migrants and the differences of its influencing factors from the perspective of the differentiation of rural-urban migrants and provides some suggestions for the implementation of citizenization policies by different groups and stages. This study focuses on the research objectives, and based on the multidisciplinary theory, adopts a variety of quantitative research methods to analyze the citizenization level of migrant workers in cities and its influencing factors. In chapter 2,the dynamic monitoring survey data of China's floating population in 2013 and 2017 are used to study the changes in the employment, wages and basic public services of migrant workers in cities by means of the analysis of variance of inter-group mean difference. In chapter 3,the dynamic monitoring survey data of China's floating population in 2017 are used to calculate 26 indicators of the generalized citizenization index system by factor analysis method, and the total samples and inter-provincial level are analyzed by kernel density function. In the influence factors of urbanization of generalized section, using the quantile regression model to specific analysis of characteristics of livelihood capital, city factors, family and personal characteristics, such as the various factors on the economy, public services, migrant workers social integration and psychology into the aspects of the influence of urbanization level,on the one hand, improve the credibility of the model regression results,on the other hand can the specific impact of different urbanization level residents are further discussed. In this study,on the basis of relevant works of literature, built around the research target research, integration of multiple disciplines theory, uses the analogy analysis method and the econometric model analysis method of citizenization of rural-urban migrants and their motivation. The main research conclusions are including: First, employment, wages and basic public services of rural-urban migrants have improved, mainly displays in the rural-urban migrants work as white-collar workers in the third industry employment has increased, the proportion of wage income growth obviously,in the employment rate of social insurance pay rise gradually,in the proportion of employment to buy their own house rose, etc.Second, the citizenization level of rural-urban migrants in cities is in a state of non-coordination,which is mainly manifested in three aspects: first, the citizenization level of economic citizenization, citizenization of public service, citizenization of social integration and psychological integration,in general,is in an unbalanced and non-cooperative state;Second, the generalized citizenization of rural rural-urban migrants in the region is unbalanced between the east and the west, the coast and the inland;Third, the uneven development of citizenization in different dimensions in the same city.Third, the citizenization of rural-urban migrants in cities is obviously different in different generations, different strata and different flow direction of groups.Generally speaking, the new generation, the high strata and the groups with a relatively close flow range have a relatively high level of generalized citizenization, but the above laws are not completely followed in specific dimensions.Fourthly, livelihood capital and urban characteristics have a great impact on the citizenization of rural-urban migrants in cities.Livelihood capital such as human capital and social capital can promote the generalized citizenization of rural-urban migrants in cities.Fifth, the reflection of rural-urban migrants from different generations, different social strata and different flows on the influencing factors varies greatly, which is mainly reflected in the reflection of the generalized citizenization level of rural-urban migrants from different differentiated groups on different types of livelihood capital. This paper may achieve the following innovations:First, this paper discusses the causes of citizenization of rural-urban migrants in the broad sense by combining macro and microdata. The influence of macro and micro driving factors on labor migration has been affirmed in the classical migration theory.Behaviorism also tries to combine macro and micro factors to specifically discuss individual behavior. In the related research of social integration, although the social environment and other factors are considered, they are still mainly discussed from the perspective of individual characteristics. In this paper, the macro data of cities and microdata of floating population are combined to discuss citizenization and its causes,so as to comprehensively understand the logic of citizenization from two dimensions of space and individual, and provide references for the city itself to specify policy guidance and design measures for groups.Second, this paper uses three differentiation perspectives of rural-urban migrants to deeply discuss the generalized citizenization and its causes.Previous studies mainly regarded rural-urban migrants as a homogeneous group. With the advancement of urbanization,rural-urban migrants in cities gradually evolved into different groups. Some studies also start to study the citizenization of rural-urban migrants from the perspective of internal differentiation of rural-urban migrants. At present, the perspectives adopted include generation differentiation, class differentiation and flow differentiation.Based on the theory of social stratification, this paper analyzes the relationship between the differentiation of rural-urban migrants and citizenization from the perspective of stratification, compares and analyzes the citizenization of different subgroups of rural-urban migrants and the influencing factors, and explores the similarities or differences in citizenization of different subgroups of rural-urban migrants.
