Study On The Interactive Development Of New Urbanization And Industrial Agglomeration

There is a natural interactive relationship between town and Industry,which can promote the benign interactive development of the two,and can foster the driving mechanism of new-type urbanization,and expand the development space of industry.Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),the construction of new-type urbanization has accelerated.China's urbanization is changing from a speed-type to a speed-type with equal emphasis on both speed and quality.Under the requirement of High-quality Development,new-type urbanization and industrial agglomeration are driven by two wheels,is a new round of economic growth is an important driving force,but also the inevitable requirement of economic restructuring.Agglomeration economy is the core of urban regional development,and industrial agglomeration is the base of agglomeration economy.Based on the previous data observation,the interaction between new urbanization and industrial agglomeration is found.So what's the underlying mechanism? By extension,how do different types of industrial agglomeration(manufacturing,producer services,consumer services,public services)relate to the new type of urbanization,and at the same time,how does the agglomeration mode of manufacturing industry and service industry affect the new urbanization? Wait a minute.To solve these problems is of great significance.On the one hand,we can perfect the theory of agglomeration economy,enrich the theory of regional coordinated development and deepen the theory of urbanization.On the other hand,it provides the direction for the development of towns and industries in practice,as well as the decision-making reference for the behavior choice of the regional development main body.In this paper,based on the relevant literature,the data of new-type urbanization development in 283 cities at prefecture level and above from 2003 to 2017,and the data of employees in manufacturing industry and 14 subdivisions of service industry,this paper puts forward the distinguishing standard of the new-type urbanization stage,constructs the new-type Urbanization Evaluation Index System,and expounds the location quotient and the industrial concentration degree of the evaluation index of industrial agglomeration,according to these two indexes,the paper describes the Development Status of new urbanization and industrial agglomeration in China.On this basis,the paper theoretically discusses the internal relationship between newtype urbanization and industrial agglomeration,and holds that under the combined effect of the root mechanism,the strengthening mechanism,the innovation mechanism and the selection mechanism,urban System and industrial system are constantly coupled in resource endowment,industrial structure,spatial layout and Development Environment,which is based on resource endowment and driven by residents and enterprises in pursuit of high income,it is an interactive process of upgrading industrial structure and urban function,which is attracted by the agglomeration effect and promoted by the upgrading of resource endowment structure.Based on the above research questions and theoretical framework,from the perspective of the relationship between new urbanization and industrial agglomeration,and the impact of industrial agglomeration modes on new urbanization,three theoretical hypotheses are put forward:(1)new-type Urbanization,public service industry,manufacturing industry,producer service industry and living service industry are related to each other,influence each other and promote each other.In the early and early stages of new-type urbanization,it is mainly the effect of relatively specialized agglomeration of manufacturing industry on promoting newtype urbanization,the effect of the relative diversification and agglomeration of manufacturing industry on the new urbanization is more obvious.As to the mode of service industry agglomeration,the effect of relatively diversified agglomeration of service industry on new urbanization is more obvious due to the particularity of service industry,and with the improvement of new urbanization level,the more diversified and concentrated the service industry,the stronger the driving effect of the new urbanization.Based on the theoretical hypothesis,this paper establishes the econometric model and draws the following conclusions:First,the relationship among new urbanization,manufacturing cluster,public service cluster,producer service cluster and living service cluster is investigated.The PVAR model is constructed and analyzed by panel Granger causality test,impulse response and variance decomposition,new-type urbanization,public service industry,manufacturing industry,producer service industry and living service industry are interrelated,influence and promote each other.Because of the combined effect of the root mechanism,the strengthening mechanism,the innovation mechanism and the selection mechanism,it is not sustainable to pursue one's own development only by promoting one's own development,nor is it sustainable to pursue development in one area while pursuing development in others.The new type of urbanization,the Public Service Industry,the manufacturing industry,the producer service industry and the living service industry are mainly influenced by themselves in the short term,but they influence each other in the long term,and their role in themselves gradually weakens,and the interaction between them grows stronger.With the development of new-type urbanization,manufacturing industry,producer service industry and service industry are in succession.The new type of urbanization needs to match the appropriate industries.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the interactive relationship between the new type of urbanization and various industrial clusters in accordance with the development level of the new type of urbanization,depending on the advantages of resources,infrastructure and environment,the development of related industries will be promoted,and the development of industries will in turn promote the function of cities.Secondly,the paper investigates the influence of the mode of industrial agglomeration on the new urbanization.This paper constructs a dynamic panel data model,uses the system GMM method to estimate,and empirically discusses the influence of the relative specialization and relative diversification on the new urbanization of the manufacturing industry at the whole level of the cities in China,it can not be concluded that the relative specialization and diversification of the manufacturing industry can promote the new urbanization level.This may be because relative specialization and relative diversification in manufacturing have different effects in cities of different industrial agglomeration sizes or at different levels of new urbanization,this will offset its impact on the new type of urbanization at the municipal level across the country.Then,by introducing the virtual variables representing the size of the city and the level of the new type of urbanization,it can be further found that whether the city size or the level of the new type of urbanization as the standard of urban classification regression,the cities on the new urbanization index are mainly affected by the promotion effect of the diversification and agglomeration of the manufacturing sector The medium-sized and small cities and the lower and lower level of new urbanization are mainly affected by the relative specialization of manufacturing industry.Thirdly,the paper investigates the influence of the mode of industrial agglomeration of service choice,the relative diversification of the service sector is more conducive to meeting the diversified needs of consumers and attracting large numbers of people to it,thus expanding the consumer market and promoting the agglomeration of more enterprises,under the effect of embedded mechanism and strengthened mechanism,the cumulative effect is formed,and under the effect of innovation mechanism,the diversified service industry is more conducive to the dissemination and learning of knowledge and technology,thus enhancing the innovation ability of enterprises.The over-specialization of the service industry may reduce the effectiveness of resource allocation,but also can not meet the consumption needs of residents.Then,by introducing the virtual variables that represent the size of the city and the level of the new type of urbanization,we can further discover that for cities,whether they are cities of large or small size or the level of the new type of urbanization,the bigger the city and the higher the level of new urbanization,the stronger the function of the relative diversification of the service industry is The relative specialization of the service industry may have a negative impact on the new type of urbanization,and the smaller the city size,the lower the level of the new type of urbanization,the negative effect of the relative specialization of the service industry on the new urbanization is stronger.This shows that the relatively diversified aggregation of services can better meet the diversified consumption needs of residents under the function of selection mechanism,and in addition,under the function of rooted mechanism and strengthened mechanism,diversification can promote the information exchange and interaction among different industries,and the existence of innovation mechanism can further promote technological innovation.In general,the interaction between new urbanization and industrial agglomeration is a process of resource endowment,industrial structure,spatial distribution and development environment.And whether the level of interaction can smoothly merge and transition,it depends on whether the interaction mechanism of industry agglomeration and new urbanization can be adjusted and changed adaptively according to the change of interaction stage.
