| Industrial cluster has developed into an important form of economic organization since 1990s, and it further get continuing development with accompanied process of industrialization and accelerated urbanization. Currently, industrial clusters have become the new industrial development strategy in many countries and regions. The theoretical and practical research of industrial cluster have been not only widely used in general industry, but also been paid more and more attention to areas of business, finance, tourism, entertainment and other service industry.Unlike the common service industry, tourism industry is an industry with strong relevance and influence. Therefore, Industrial cluster could not only optimize tourism industry's own industrial structure and improve the capacity of competitiveness and innovation of the regional tourism industry, but also be able to provide a scientific theoretical basis for all levels government formulating policies and measures to develop the tourism industry. Moreover, to led the development of other related industries in the region by using of effect and the multiplier effect associated effect, thereby enhancing overall competitive strength of the overall regional economy.This dissertation analyzed basic theories and methods of tourism industrial cluster based on researching theories and methods of regional economics, tourism, management and other related disciplines and with existing outcomes of theoretical and practical research. This dissertation also tried to broaden researching perspectives and levels of tourism industrial cluster, and establish a different studying methods and systems of tourism industrial cluster between manufacturing and high-tech industries. Through theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, from multiple perspectives of forming mechanism, forming and developing models, recognition of forming and developing, spatial layout, strategies and solutions to study the formation and development mechanism of regional tourism industrial cluster, and then to provide theoretical support for formulating developing strategies of regional tourism industrial cluster and also to provide political reference for making developing polices of regional tourism industry.This dissertation is divided into eight chapters: The First Chapter: Introduction. Firstly, it made a comprehensive analysis and review on the domestic and international tourism industrial cluster's study based on collected literature of industrial cluster and the tourism industrial cluster. Furthermore, it applied a background analysis of tourism industry's development and the phenomenon of tourism industrial cluster. Moreover, the line of research, methods and techniques were designed.The Second Chapter: Implications of the Tourism Industrial Cluster. It studied the definition and characteristics of tourism industrial cluster based on the general connotation and extension of industrial cluster, and also analyzed similarities and differences between tourism industrial cluster and other industrial cluster.The Third Chapter:Case Study of International and domestic tourism industrial Cluster. Current developing trend of the tourism industrial cluster was concluded by study on typical cases of the formation and development of international and domestic tourism industrial cluster.The Fourth Chapter: Formation Mechanism and Development Models of Regional Tourism industrial cluster. It preliminarily analyzed reasons, conditions and path of formation of regional tourism industrial cluster on the basis of characteristics of the tourism industry. Furthermore, based on the analysis of formation mechanism of regional tourism industrial cluster, the formation and development models of regional tourism cluster were concluded.The Fifthh Chapter: The recognition of Formation and development of Regional Tourism Industrial Cluster. Based on the general identification of industrial clusters, to make a recognition system from the macro, meso and micro overall perspectives to determine the existence of regional tourism industrial cluster, and then to study the developing trend.The Sixth Chapter: Evaluation of Competitive Advantage of Regional Tourism Industrial Cluster. It mainly discussed sources, characteristics and evaluation methods of evaluating competitive advantages of regional tourism industrial cluster.The Seventh Chapter: Formation Mechanism and Developing Strategies of Hubei Tourism Industrial Cluster. The further developing models, specific strategies and solutions of Hubei's tourism industrial cluster were pointed out through analyzing the current developing status of tourism Industry in Hubei Province and the formation recognition of Hubei tourism industrial cluster.The Eighth Chapter: Conclusion and Further Research Forecast. The main conclusions, innovation, and the inadequacies of existing and future research prospects of this dissertation were summarized. |
