With the rapid development of globalization,the relationship between countries becomes closer,and cultural exchanges and confrontation become more frequent.This makes the problems that China is facing more and more with the times and the world,and makes the general environment and main trend of the international community more and more deeply affect China.Our era puts forward new requirements for ideological and political education,that is,ideological and political education under the background of globalization urgently needs a broad perspective of cross-cultural,interdisciplinary,cross-time and space,and urgently needs to construct a theoretical and practical system of ideological and political education with national characteristics and conforming to the laws of the times in the exchange and mutual learning of civilization between China and the world.Looking back,the international comparative study of ideological and political education has achieved fruitful results.Looking into the future,it still needs to further deepen the basic theory research,especially to strengthen the premise of “reference” as the core.This is because reference is not only related to the legitimacy foundation and value direction of the development of international comparative research,but also to the epistemological basis and principle of human civilization exchange and mutual learning.The problems that need to be solved in the international comparison of ideological and political education include: what is reference? Why we need reference? Is it possible to reference? How to reference?Focusing on these problems,this paper insists on taking Marxism as the guide,comprehensively using the methods of literature research,cultural research,interdisciplinary integration and so on.first,find out the concept connotation and reference value;then,clarify the possibility of reference;finally,analyze the reference position,reference content and reference strategy in turn.According to this basic logic,in addition to the introduction and the conclusion,the paper is mainly divided into five parts:Chapter ?.Concept Analysis and Reference Value.This paper analyzes the specific connotation of the three main concepts of “ideological and political education ”,“international comparison” and “reference” in the context of this topic,and then reveals the value implication of the reference research on the international comparison of ideological and political education and even the scientific and modern development of ideological and political education.First,the chapter explains the connotation of ideological and political education.This paper understands ideological and political education from the perspective of class,individual and nation,and points out that international comparative study should not only pay attention to its class connotation and political connotation,but also pay attention to its cultural connotation and national connotation.Second,the chapter illustrates international comparative connotation.The international comparison highlights the cross-cultural and cross-institutional characteristics,which can be understood from five aspects:similarities and differences analysis,type division,law disclosure,advantages and disadvantages evaluation,dialogue and communication.Third,the chapter illustrates reference connotation.According to the three-level contradictions in the international comparison of ideological and political education,this paper puts forward its triple connotation,that is,to promote the bridge between self and others,to deepen the way of cross-cultural communication and dialogue,and to promote the choice of social spirit reproduction.Fourth,the chapter illustrates reference value.The theory of value,epistemology and methodology guided by reference can enhance the consciousness of overall situation,problem and method of comparative ideological and political education.Chapter ?.The Problems and Responses of Reference.It is important to respond to the objective situation that the conflict of ideology is hard to avoid,the distance between cultures is hard to eliminate,and the application of discourse understanding is hard to be equivalent.The first is the possibility references on class conflict,which includes the connectivity of educational logic,educational content,educational means and the commonness of human interests.The second is the possibility references on the cultural distance.Although ideological and political education in different countries rooted in different cultural traditions,the cultural similarity makes it possible to span the distance.The cultural similarity mainly includes the problem-oriented similarity,the thinking-mode similarity and the cultural tension similarity.The third is the possibility references on conceptual barrier.Many international comparative disciplines are faced with the problem of “conceptual equivalence”.In the case that it is difficult to eliminate the conceptual barrier,the international comparison of ideological and political education is based on the equivalence of conceptual provisions,the universality of scientific laws and the similarity of environmental statutes.Chapter ?.The Basis and Positions of Reference.It is important to analyze the important exposition and ideological inspiration of Marxist classical writers on the international comparison of ideological and political education.Although Marx and others seldom have a direct discussion on the reference position of the international comparison of ideological and political education,many relevant judgments with great guiding significance can be drawn from their works,such as “one country should and can learn from other countries”,“everything that truly marks progress is the object of proletarian study”,“abstract general results can not leave the real history”,“we should be good at looking at the experience of other countries with a critical attitude and test it independently”,“we should pay attention to combining with the actual situation of our country”,“we should boldly absorb and learn from all the achievements of civilization created by human society”,“To learn from each other by civilization beyond the conflict of civilization”,and so on.Based on these important expositions,we can draw the conclusion that the international comparison of ideological and political education in the new era should adhere to the national standpoint with independence as the core and the class standpoint based on the interests of the people,and the human standpoint with the purpose of progressive liberation.Chapter ?.Reference Objects.It is important to answer the selection method and concrete content of the international comparative reference objects of ideological and political education.First,it explores the reference objects of the relevant international comparative disciplines,which generally include four kinds of objects:the other issues with the significance of the times,the other areas around the same related problems,the common problems faced by mankind and other schemes,and the“universal” truth beyond the specific cultural limits.Second,it analyzes the general methodological premise of these international comparative disciplines in determining the reference objects,including the simultaneous presence of the self and the other,the regular boundaries of the general and the particular,the separation and purification of the content and the form.Finally,combining the specialty of the discipline of ideological and political education,the international comparative research should pay attention tothe three types of reference contents: the main theme of the topic,the research paradigm and the practical experience.Chapter ?.Reference Route.It is important to make the reference route of the international comparison of ideological and political education.The first is the problem-oriented reference route.This paper points out that international comparative disciplines generally balance the three contradictory relations between China and the world,tradition and contemporary,present and future on issue setting.The international comparative study of ideological and political education should focus on the following three issues,namely,the relationship between patriotism and internationalism in the process of globalization,the inheritance and innovation of traditional value culture in the process of modernization,and the construction of spiritual homeland and lofty mission in the materialization era.The second is realizing the general agreement on concept.In order to enhance the equivalence and effectiveness of the communication and dialogue between different cultural systems and different national concept names,this paper treats the Marxist “three kinds of regulations” as the analysis framework and builds a well-structured system of conceptual specification system including the name category of the ideological and political education in various countries.In the “three kinds of regulations”,the general provisions include the value provisions reflecting the standard of good and evil of the group,the guiding provisions reflecting the norms of social customs,the indoctrination provisions reflecting the mechanism of intervention,etc.The special provisions include the ideological provisions reflecting the position of class interests,the scientific provisions reflecting the law of things development,the revolutionary provisions reflecting the requirements of human progress and liberation,and the religious provisions reflecting the transcendental intention of the deity.The individual provisions are the nationality based on traditional culture.The third is to build reference system.The reference system is the coordinate system of international comparison,which transcends the limitation of single evaluation index in the traditional sense.This paper attempts to construct three kinds of reference systems,including the reference system based on specific indicators of individual countries,the reference system based on multiple national comprehensive indicators and the reference system based on human future development indicators.Since their own advantages and limitations,three types of reference systems should be flexibly selected and reasonably applied.
