In modern society, public participation is the people's basic needs, the social practice ofpeople in order to maintain or promote the public welfare, to express interest demands, toimpact public events and public decision-making. For young college student, participation insocial life and practice in order to understand the society and serve the society, to understandthe situation and increase their abilities, has been an important channels and ways ofself-perfection and service to the society. College student use the new media technology, actthe Internet as a platform to participate public activities. In terms of content, form, or theways and technology, these activities are becoming more frequent, diverse and networked. Inthe new media environment, how Ideological and Political Education can ensure the collegestudent public participation works well? This is a problem that needs careful exploration andresearch.It must be noted that, with the college student to participate in social life increased,especially in the network involved in the surge, compared with campus life, they are morevulnerable to erosion and decay of erroneous ideas of social thought. The impact on collegestudent should not be underestimated. How do the Ideological and Political Education guidethe college student public participation with the socialist core value system effectively? Wemust give an answer from theory and practice sides. From the perspective of Ideological andPolitical Education, this paper based on the reality of the Internet age college student publicparticipation, analysis of the college student values and behavior patterns of publicparticipation in the Internet age, explore the road to lead the development of college studentpublic participate with the socialist core value system, and to integrate the socialist core valuesystem into the all through the college student public participation.This paper mainly from the following five parts:The first chapter is the theoretical analysis of college student public participation. ThusProvides the basic theoretical premise for in-depth analysis of the problem on the one hand,and the analytical paradigm for further explore the issues on another.The second chapter analyses the current situation of college student public participation inthe Internet age. In order to accurately grasp the trend of college student public participationin the Internet age, this chapter gives a clear definition of the connotation of college studentpublic participation in the Internet age firstly, meanwhile, analyses the actual state of thecollege student public participation further from the connotation, methods, features, andproblems existing in the development of college student public participation.The third chapter is the value to lead of college student public participation in the Internet age. This chapter explores the value coordinates of college student public participation fromdimensions of value-oriented and the choice of value, while analysis what the individualism,utilitarianism and pragmatism can impact on the pattern and the behavior of college studentpublic participation. On this basis, we consider the value–integration is the strategic optionof guiding college student public participation.The fourth chapter is to guide the behavior of college student public participation inInternet age. College student organized party and peer groups, for example, explore thelogic of public participation, while analysis the micro-environment in-depth from the aspectsof family environment, school environment and peer environment.On this basis, pointing outthat subject cultivation is an important task to guide college student public participation in theInternet age.Chapter Five is about leading the college student public participation in internet ageeffectively by "the integration of the whole process". pointing out that, we must strengthen theconstruction of the college student organized party, make the social practice of college studentplay a major role in college student public participation. And, this is the path choice of inleading the college student public participation.
