In recent years,Tibetan medicine industry has seen a rapid growth,while the limited Tibetan medicinal materials have been consumed at an alarming rate,with an increasing number of medicinal herbs are in endangerment.To investigate the endangered situation and develop the research-based management is thus a precondition for the sustainable development.The empirical study on the resource management of wild endangered medicinal materials is an important subject of sustainability,and also provides the theoretical basis and analysis tools for industrial development.The management of endangered wild Tibetan medicine resources is still in its infancy.Taking the endangered wild Tibetan medicinal herb Dactylorhiza hatagirea as a case study,following the approach of "identification of endangered factors--evaluation of endangered resources – control--sustainable utilization and development mechanism",this study adopts the methods of literature review,field investigation,interview,questionnaire and empirical analysis,and uses statistical analysis and softwares.The interdisplinary study investigates the inherent logical relationship of the risk factors,builds a series of models to demonstrate the path of sustainable utilization,in order to alleviate the crisis of Tibetan medicine resources and promote sustainable development.It concludes with policy recommendations and implications for futhur study.The main work of this paper includes:Firstly,to identify the natural risk factors and the issue of suitability of Tibetan medicine resources,the distribution and sample plots of Dactylorhiza hatagirea in the Qinghai--Tibet Plateau region were investigated,drawing on the theory of conservation biology.The correlation analysis and regression analysis were carried out on the flora,genera,species distribution types,composition of families,genera and species,community quantity and environmental characteristics,species diversity index,interspecific correlation analysis and regression analysis.Spatial superposition analysis and suitability verification were carried out on the suitable range of environmental factors in the distribution area of Dactylorhiza hatagirea.The results obtained the suitable area for wild tending and artificial introduction and cultivation.The quantitative and visual technology of suitable areas for wild and endangered medicinal plants in Qinghai Province and the balance model of climate,soil and suitable area were established,which laid a foundation for the development of Tibetan medicine industry and the planning of planting.The new methods and new means of investigation and management of Tibetan medicine resources were tested empirically.Secondly,based on the theory of planned behavior,through setting up test sites,field investigation and interview,the paper focuses on the analysis of the current situation of resources utilization and protection awareness,the relationship between behavior awareness,subjective norms,perceptual behavior control and Tibetan medicine protection.Thirdly,according to the evaluation method of sustainable development of medicinal plant resources,the evaluation model of sustainable development of wild medicinal plant resources in Qinghai--Tibet Plateau was established from four criterion layers,including endangerment,genetic value,plant value and human factors,with 18 evaluation index layers and 14 evaluation factor layers.Fourthly,based on the system theory of resource management and sustainable development of traditional Chinese medicine,the relationship between the utilization of wild renewable resources of Tibetan medicine and the ecological environment,social and economic system is analyzed.The three subsystems of sustainable utilization of Tibetan medicine resources and the flow chart of market development and utilization have been constructed.The market development model of Tibetan medicine wild medicine resources and the development model of Tibetan medicine industry chain were put forward,which provided mechanism analysis and model construction for the sustainable development and utilization of Tibetan medicine resources.Lastly,based on the research hypothesis of the process of risk management in regarding to the capacity in sustainable development,i.e.risk identification of natural and human factors,risk assessment,risk control,a questionnaire survey was mae and regression analysis and structural equation model were used to test the hypothesis and the action path.Furthermore,the research-based protection countermeasures and policy suggestions were put forward.
