Tic disorders occurs in childhood and is a chronic neuropsychological disease that seriously jeopardizes the normal social function of children and brings endless distress to families. There are fewer Intervention for Western medicine to relieve symptoms and the drugs are often accompanied by varying degrees of adverse reactions. As we all know, traditional Chinese medicine has significant curative effect on tic disorder and less adverse reactions. At present, traditional Chinese medicine treatment of tic disorder has become a research hotspot. But most of them are clinical case reports, experience summaries,forward-looking research, etc.,and lack of great data support from real world. The academic thinking of treating tic disorder in Chinese medicine is limited to the summary of experience. In addition, there is insufficient clinical safety data for TCM treatment of tic disorder.Traditional Chinese medicine toxicology studies focus on acute toxicity and chronic toxicity studies. Those results can not guide the long-term but non-perpetual drug use of tic disorder.Prof.Wu Min,had followed Professor Liu Bichen and Ruiqunto learn pediatric knowledge and skills. She is the fourth-generation descendant of the Shanghai Pediatric and engaged in the study of children's tic disorder for more than 30 years with the support of more than 20 subjects including NSFC.Prof.Wu has formed a practical, rich and systematic Chinese medicine treatment of tic disorder. This study established a three-dimensional,all-round,big data management platform of tic disorder, innovatively used data mining and real-world research methods to analysis Professor Wu Min's treatment of medicine, prescription and the regular pattern of treatment. The study evaluated the clinical efficacy, recurrence and influencing factors of treatment of tic disorder and summary Professor Wu Min's academic thinking on tic disorder, provide new research ideas and methods for TCM.We evaluate the safety of TCM treatment of tic disorder through the long-term clinical data.Subacute toxicity study design was used to evaluate the nephrotoxicity of high-dose Scorpion decoction to provide safe guidance for the safe and rational use of traditional Chinese medicine for long-term treatment of tic disorder. The research had developed the three-dimensionality and all aspects big data management platform of tic disorder, and successfully collected a large number of clinical data.We found that Professor Wu Min used 231 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of tic disorder.Commonly used drugs include Uncaria,Magnolia flower,Gastrodia, viter rotundifolia,Radix Saposhnikoviae,Cynanchum paniculatum, and Scorpion. The basic TCM prescription to treat tic disorder include Gastrodia,Magnolia flower,Uncaria,Scorpion,Radix Saposhnikoviae. The basic therapeutic principles of TCM should be expelling Feng(wind)to relieving convulsion and clearing heat to pacifying Gan(liver). The most frequently channel tropism appeared in the prescription is Fei(Lung)and Gan(Liver)meridian. For patients with wind formation from yin deficiency,Radix Rehmanniae and Carapax Et Plastrum Testudinis could be used.Caulis Bambusae In Taenia,Bombyx Batryticatus,Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae and Rhizoma Atractylodis could be used for patients with damp abundance due to splenic asthenia.Symptoms were antoher reference for TCM useing.Radix Angelicae Dahuricae was always used to contol noise's tic.For the symptoms of head and shoulder,Ramulus Mori and Scolopendra can be chioces.Periostracum Cicadae and Herba Taraxaci were used to treat the vocal tics. The total effective rate of treatment for 1 year was 91.28%,the asymptomatic rate was 74.39%,and the therapeutic effect peaked at 6 months. The patient's disease duration and age will affect the prognosis of patients. The prognosis of patients with a disease duration of less than one year is better than one year. The treatment of patients with younger age is better than the older patients. The total recurrence rate was 12.82%.Within 7 months after treatment, the recurrence was more concentrated. The patient's course of disease, age, sex, disease classification, family history of tics, and comorbidities were all related. There was no significant effect of recurrence.Clinical data suggest that long-term Chinese medicine treatment is safe: the total adverse reaction rate is 1.02%,and only a small number of patients have microalbuminuria(0.68%),but the APS scores of each adverse reaction and Chinese medicine use are 0 points and-One point indicates that each adverse reaction has little to do with the use of traditional Chinese medicine.Highdose total sputum does not affect serum creatinine, urea nitrogen and uric acid levels in the short term, and has no significant effect on urine microalbumin.Studies on the renal pathology of mice suggest that high-dose total sputum does not affect the morphology of the kidneys of mice in a short period of time. Therefore,it can be considered that there is no renal toxicity in a short period of time.
