Research On The Theory And Application Of Warming Liver Therapy In Traditional Chinese Medicine

Treatment is the key link in the theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine,which inherits the etiology and pathogenesis,and integrates the prescription and medicine.It plays a connecting role in the system of theory,method,prescription and medicine,and is the unique embodiment of the thought of syndrome differentiation and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine.All the physicians of the past dynasties paid attention to the research of the therapeutic methods.Using the research methods of medical history literature,textual research,induction and summary,this paper constructs the theoretical framework of warm liver therapy,puts forward the definition and application scope of warm liver therapy,clarifies its academic development,systematically summarizes its efficacy,and summarizes its clinical application.The main body of this paper can be divided into five parts.The first part discusses the theoretical problems related to the liver of traditional Chinese medicine.Specifically,it includes(1)the anatomical understanding of "liver" in TCM can be summarized into four periods:naming period,function generalization period,rich development period and mutual learning between Chinese and Western medicine.(2)The construction process of the theoretical system of‘liver visceral image'.(3)The reason of "liver yang deficiency" is rare in TCM literature.(4)The formulation of "liver without tonic method" is biased.(5)Liver is a kind of "rigid viscera",which is a summary of the tendency of pathogenesis and syndrome manifestation of liver,which is not easy to see the pathogenesis of Yang deficiency,but easy to see the pathogenesis of yin deficiency.(6)This paper combs the understanding process of the physiological function of "liver governing and relieving" in the past dynasties.(7)The physiological function of "liver storing blood" was explained.(8)Liver is closely related to the regulation of urination and reproductive function.(9)The reason why the liver is called "the officer of the general”is that the liver's catharsis function regulates the physiological activities of the human body.(10)The word 'the root of the strike'mainly has two meanings:"endure fatigue" and "disperse Qi and blood to the whole body.(11)"Liver born on the left" does not refer to the actual anatomical position of the liver,but highly summarizes its functional characteristics.The second part puts forward the definition and scope of application of "warming liver",and thinks that warming liver method is suitable for the treatment of cold diseases caused by deficiency of liver yang or cold coagulation of liver pulse.The application scope of warming liver method is liver cold syndrome,including liver yang deficiency syndrome,liver qi deficiency syndrome,liver blood deficiency syndrome,cold coagulation of liver pulse syndrome,liver qi stagnation syndrome and so on.This paper compares the treatment methods of warming liver with soothing liver,purging liver,tonifying spleen and tonifying kidney,and explains their differences and relations.The third part combs the contents of "cold liver" and "warm liver" scattered in ancient books of traditional Chinese medicine,divides the academic origin of warm liver therapy into four periods:Pre Qin and Han Dynasties,Jin and Tang Dynasties,song and Yuan Dynasties,Ming and Qing Dynasties.The theoretical characteristics are summarized as four stages:theoretical foundation,deepening pathogenesis,creating new prescriptions,advocating warm tonic.The fourth part summarizes the efficacy and clinical application of warming liver therapy,which can be further divided into eight principles of syndrome differentiation and treatment.(1)Warming liver,dispersing cold,regulating qi and relieving pain.(2)Warming liver and warming Yang,relaxing tendons and unblocking pulse.(3)Warming liver and promoting blood circulation,tonifying deficiency and nourishing blood.(4)Warming the liver and activating yang,promoting qi and relieving depression.(5)Warming and astringing liver qi,reducing urine and causing flaccidity.(6)Warming the liver and stomach,reducing adverse reactions and stopping vomiting.(7)Warming liver and activating yang,transforming Qi and promoting water.(8)Warm the liver,tonify the deficiency,regulate the Chong and Ren methods.The fifth part of the "Linzheng Zhinan yi'an" in the use of warm liver method data mining,data mining results and literature analysis results are mutually consistent.
